FYA as i did not know what to expect with two kids recieving similar red letter day gift for a single session for each of them. Each 'flight' is timed at one minute and then your done (this is begginner level, more experienced flyers got 2.5 mins a flight in same session). So its two minutes in total, seperated by how many are in the group. One the day / as you enter the chamber, they will ask you if you want a one of your flights to include a visit to the top of the chamber with the instructor assiting and/or potentially and extra flight. Each is an extra cost, think it was £14 for each.

Personally i think its a waste of time, money and effort for two minutes. Google them and read through trust pilot for feedback from others. (edited)

I do not recommend you doing this if you have moderate to severe asthma. I did this once and ended up having an asthma attack. no warnings but should of realised it would caused some distress.

Would be better if you tell them about it, so they can label it as a warning for any other similar customers.

Had a go at this and to be honest, I didn’t rate it.

After receiving vouchers for our wedding gift and the turmoil of booking anything without paying loads extra I'm boycotting buyagift.

Their customer services are non contactable and the vouchers we received (£120) ended up costing us another £430 to use them for a hotel in London for 2nights.

Everything is overpriced when it comes to booking and you can't speak to anyone.

I like the look of this for my wifes Birthday coming up soon, sadly i am too large to take part, so looks like i will be a spectator, very nice find. I would never have thought of this, worth the drive to Manchester, thanks for posting this, getting her a pair of Nike Air trainers was never gonna cut it for her birthday.

Really good fun and although it's a short experience I'm definitely glad to have given it a go.

Just enjoy it for what it is.... A unique experience you will probably only do once 😁

But won't get one year flexibility or are you saying it's the usual price?
  9. youngchap's avatar
Only at this moment in time but would change soon whereas buyagift is for a year?

I have a local skydiving club but they cant take me as i have too much muscle, i aint fat..But i am 21 stone and apparently i cannot come down in a parachute safely.
Thats despite me being trained in nuclear and chemical warfare and protection equipment and i am just dandy.
  12. youngchap's avatar
Damn once it was £34 and once £39

How fit do you need to be for this? Someone posted above they had an asthma attack, was that because it's physically demanding?

Also, what about if you wear glasses? (edited)
    jinkssick's avatar
Its more physical then you think as you are using all your muscles to stay in a straight position. Asthma attack I guess is possible if your asthmatic. Went with my 9 year old, his idea but I ended up going alone as he backed out right before going on it. Had a lot of fun. If its say this cheap nearby £22-25 pp I would go but wouldnt travel far next time.
