1) Sit the mango stem-end down.
2) Using a sharp knife, carefully cut either side of the stone to remove the 'cheeks'.
3) Place the cheeks skin side down and score a grid into the yellow flesh.

sorted byLocal ethnic supermarkets can get huge, tasty ready to eat mangos because they use proper trays like you get in markets in India. But Tesco insist on having unripe, tasteless ones all thrown into a green box.
It's starting to feel like hotukdeals is just been spammed by supermarket marketing teams these days.

Kesar and Alphonso are the bomb. Usually £18 for a box or £35 for 2 near me.
Basically any desi mango is incredible! I am popping to Asda, I didn't realise they sold Kesars.

I always try to get ones from Pakistan or India as they are the best. A lot of Asian shops still haven't started stocking them this year, seems a bit late compared to before.
