Shedstore, i used these, 15 year treated wood. 25 yr rot guarantee, Built myself, 8 x 10. well happy.
    6 x 4 under £300 from them now too.
On another note, buy something from a company you wish to buy a large snd more expensive product from. 10-20% off next purchase codes emailed..!!??
Doubt it would stack against ones on offer.

Look decent these mate, what did you use as your base? Ours is to go on the garden grass? Would flags do?

    BillyOH are terrible quality sheds.

Awkward to assemble with poor quality materials.

Cheaper allotment shed maybe.... But not for anything you want to be around and look good.

Tiger are a better company to buy from.

I’ve not voted either way, but how can a ‘deal’ with so many negative comments, be voted hot‽‽

Absolute junk never buy an overlap shed. It’s basically 4 cheap fence panels with a. Roof.
    Look for tongue and groove

But sometimes that's what you need especially for an allotment or a rental

Rubbish company, bought a summer house from them a year ago and had to fork out for all the missing roofing/felt

As others say, avoid like the plague....we bought a bench off them many years ago.....it came inadequately packed and battered to bits.

We had about four further parcels of bits and bobs trying to get a whole good bench before giving up and getting the money back from the credit card company.

Bought one of these a few years back and it was abysmal. Arrived on a trailer full of all sorts of odds and end of wood, parts missing, had to make numerous complaints and they never put it right. Avoid anything cheap from this place

I've got one of their sheds (billyoh 5000 10*6) so not this model. But this company and have had it for 7 years. Cost £554 in 2016 with an additional tongue and groove floor.

The company was fine to deal with, delivery on a pallet and you screw it together.

It is on a patio slab base and I lined the underneath with a plastic sheet.

I painted the inside with a wood preservative for belts and braces and painted the outside with ducks back.

I added the tongue and groove flooring

I also added 2 ventilation vents

I've had no rot at all

I've added loads of shelving and wall mounted units, I changed all the external door screws to bolts and upgraded the latch for the lock.

    Any questions, fire away

Questions is which one to go for? Which is the best overall & best value for your monies 💰 ??

That's like asking what size cardboard box is best - It depends how much you need you store, and where you intend to put it in your garden!

Anyone know of a big national shed company that do 18mm ship lap or something more sturdy and hard wearing? :/

Definitely avoid this company like the plague. Utterly utterly awful.

I had the misfortune to buy a shed from them last year. Quoted lead time was 4-6 weeks. It took almost five months to arrive, despite numerous assurances it was on its way. Was delivered while I was at work and the components were dumped randomly in my back garden. No instructions, no documentation, nothing.

Luckily I had a professional handyman to assemble it. He came the next day and it took him the full day to put the thing together. Partly due to the lack of instructions but mostly due to there being a couple of damaged parts and a couple more that were missing completely.

It was only once he'd put the thing together that I realised that the 8x6 shed I'd paid for was actually closer to being 6 x 5. Bit late to complain then, so we made the best of a bad job, gave it a coating of oil and he left. A few days later, he then came back and stained it and to be fair, it looked half decent.

That was early November last year. The below pictures are from early May... As you can see, all the joints are swelling and separating. I've had it taken apart, all the joints reseated/knocked back into place and added cross braces to hold the thing together, but it's already coming apart again and the door barely fits in its frame. By this time next year, it'll probably only be fit for firewood.

Both the handyman and myself have contacted Garden Buildings Direct and they couldn't care less. Utter bunch of cowboys. To anyone thinking of buying from them, please DON'T.
