    Great tent - a very good compromise between lightweight and sturdy. Never let water in and I can sit up.

    To anyone who gets this - the top pole goes ON TOP of the main pole, it doesn’t hang underneath like it wants to. Most accounts you can find of these going in strong winds are due to being setup incorrectly like this and it’s not obvious at all if you get it wrong.

    I had this for a bike packing tour before switching for the hubba nx tour. My gripe was the side rainsheet doesn't go down anywhere near the floor, so my kit in the porch area (as the sleeping area is snug!) got soaked in our lovely British weather

    No doubt there might be some "how much for a 1 person tent?!" comments but this is a very very good price for a very well regarded backpacking tent. Bargain.

    Solid tents, I have the elixir 2 and it's super light and sturdy. Would recommend any of them to anyone doing distance walking/ camping

    I don't get these msr tents with a hydrostatic head of 1500 mm. That's worse than a basic Halfords/tesco tent.

    This site obviously works off people sharing their good finds but as selfish as it might sound, I would be reluctant to post until the item is bought was delivered or dispatched. It's possible they've had an inaccurate stock count and you've prompted more sales and you're the one who has missed out. I'd consider contacting them showing them you made this post, for when another is in stock. You've assisted them in making some sales. Gutted for you
