When I read the title it sounded like 499. There is nothing wrong with the wording now that I read it again, but I think it can be slightly confusing

How do you think now? I have changed the title and price already. Sorry to let you confused. I just copy the previous deal style before.

Link takes to the student website.

Going via an EPP portal you can spread the payments over 12 months 0% but that's still £76ish per month. If you don't go via EPP then you can spread over 24 months at 0% and get the 'free' speaker, but not £200 off the price.

How this one compared to earlier deal? (edited)
    ekko.star's avatar
This one you now get the full £200 off as opposed to the 10%

You save approx £200 cash on the handset + FREE case + FREE buds pro2 + £300 adidas. So it depends if that bundle is worth £200 to you.

However, probably the best deal in recent days has been the Three £269 upfront and £27 x 24mths less £150 any mobile trade in. There you got the 512GB and unlimited data and minutes for 24mths thrown in. That was a stonking deal working out at £767.

That's a sensational price for the 512GB and top end bundle. It's also about £300 saving on the Sim free adidas deal. (edited)

apologies for my ignorance. Is there some way to get an EPP account without working for Samsung? Am I missing something here?
    nick88's avatar
Many companies offer this to their workers through Xexec, Perks at Work, Reward Gateway or similar as a perk. Also NHS workers through Blue Light Card

Shame it is £80 more for green or black. I refuse to pay more out of principle for a more desirable colour!

Same price for me today mate.

I thought I read somewhere that MrSwitch confirmed you can't get the £200 cashback on the EPP site? Is this deal correct? EPP is not one of the approved retailers in the list (edited)
    MrSwitch's avatar
There was no confirmation on the EPP sites until today, but now it shows on the likes of perks at work, it's took Samsung long enough to confirm, but it seems that EPP and student portals qualify
  8. Maxm4n's avatar
You can also get it via TOTUM if you have one ,you will get discount as going via EPP

Does 'any' phone have to be a Smartphone? T&C's suggest any phone working or not but in other text it says smartphone. I have an old Sony T630 and K800i that still work (edited)

I'm not too good with these sorts of deals so could someone help out please?

I've got an S10 I can trade in, and I've got a student account.

What's the cheapest I can get the s23 ultra for? After trade in of the S10 and cashback?

And what if I was to trade in the S10 for an s23+? What would the cost of that be?

    Thanks (edited)

Can't seem to register to EPP with blue light card and my nhs email. It won't accept an nhs.net email address.

Hi. I had the same issue. I used a different browser and it worked. I use Brave but wouldn't work so used the samsung Internet and it worked.
  14. psul's avatar
When selecting the option of trading in any broken phone it states that the phone must still power on and hold a charge?
    edhjedwdwg's avatar
I have sent in past cheap mobile with no battery. And it was accepted.
  15. michaelhar392's avatar
Would I see much difference going from an S22+ ? Offering £440 trade in which seems decent.
    Mark_Hickman's avatar
If you have exynos version of s22+ youd see a huge difference in battery life on the new snap dragons

Does this work if I use paypal credit to pay ? i.e. instead of paying upfront, I chose to pay monthly? (edited)
    Jamie_Sneddon's avatar
You can't use PayPal credit if doing a trade in. When going to checkout you will only get option for samsung pay over 12 months
  17. Salah_Daw's avatar
Advice please : I have the 22 Ultra with the following details :
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 128GB Phantom Black

O2 £24 per month (inc. VAT)
    + 60GB Data
    + 24 Month Contract

It costs £540 if I trade it in with the 23 ultra.
Does it worth the upgrade with this price? (edited)
    GOODSTUFF's avatar
    nope, wait for S24 Ultra

Got it for £809, £609 after rebate. Used my company benefits website to login to Samsung.
    Vp85's avatar
How did you get this price as max we get is £699 after rebate (with £150 trade-in)
  19. smokedog's avatar
This is an ok deal but nothing special, it's slightly cheaper than the normal store using the 10% discount and you don't get free speakers. (£1,049 vs £1124)

    50298096-BwGUg.jpg (edited)
    0m4d's avatar
So that's £75 for the speaker then 🤷‍♂️
  20. tek-monkey's avatar
£699 without all the messing about is certainly a lot better!
  21. Alansmithee's avatar
Just for anyone who has not done the cashback before - I did it before I took the phone out of box - approved instantly.

Just boxing up my £1.50 HTC burner for the other £150
    irfan1235's avatar
Do you have to wait for delivery of the phone before claiming cashback?

I remember Samsung used to have these 5% off refer a friend codes that you could get by going on Twitter and searching for something

Do they still do this and if so, what do I search?
    LEB123's avatar
I've never really managed to find them on Twitter like yourself I don't really know how to find them. There's a guy on ebay who sells 10% discount codes for £4.50 but don't forget you can't use these discount codes on the EPP anyway
  24. GoldenMagikarp1's avatar
Trade in £150 only not £200

No Buds pro 2 with this deal and no more Adidas voucher £300 ......

only if 256GB had 12GB RAM
  27. Miktor's avatar
Mine was better the other day before the £300 Adidas voucher offer ended. The S23 Ultra in red, 512gb @ £1199 as there was £200 off of it. I then got £380 as a trade in for my old S21 Ultra, the £300 Adidas vouchers, £219 pair of Pro 2 Buds and a £55 armour case too. Altogether making my £1399 S23 Ultra 512gb a bargain £245, in real terms.
    JJimmer's avatar
Not really, would you have spent £300 at Adidas if you didn't get the vouchers?
  28. Lithium's avatar
Wanted to buy this until I found out S23 cameras don't work and Samsung doesn't know how to fix them.

P.S. what a terrible company, every year is a fail. Last time around it was an awful SoC. (edited)
    WHUFC2021's avatar
I think you are confusing the s23,s23+ blurry photos with the ultra which doesn't have these problem, but i'm sure samsung will sort that problem with the lesser models soon anyway
  29. hardikjshah83's avatar
thanks OP. I have managed to order 2 Samsung Ultra 23 and a watch , traded by s20 and s21, and paid £1580, expecting cashback is £475, so both phone and watch will effectively cost me about £1100 only.. less then the original price for the 1 phone.

This definitely looks like a better deal than the adidas vouchers. Hot.

Heat added. Great deal. I purchased using the finance option just a bit concerned. Will they still pay the £200 cashback if I've got it on 12 month finance? TIA
    Alansmithee's avatar
You apply for the cashback when you get it and it's approved instantly - if it does not approve then you just send it back.

    (they will approve it).
