    That's not the same monitor. That's the 120hz CRG9.

The Odyssey G9 is 240hz and superior.

100% worth the £50 for the 240hz full fat G9.

I can't imagine why anybody would want to sit so close to a 49" screen but there is obviously a market for it otherwise they wouldn't sell it.

no different than a standard 27".

Does anyone know definitively if this is 120hz or 240hz?

The title on the site says 120hz but the description says 240hz.

I even went as far as to open a chat with their 'live experts' and the person there told me it was 120hz, then when I questioned why the description says 240hz they changed their mind and said it was 240hz. So to be honest, I don't think they have any more information than what is already on the site.

    EDIT:
My query with Samsung got escalated to tech support and the guy there confirmed it is 120hz. He also said he'd raise it with the appropriate people to get the description fixed on the site.

Still not a bad price, but unfortunately that's a deal breaker for me.

@Anti_SocialSWO It might be worth changing the title on here too since it is now confirmed that it is 120hz rather than 240.

    ANOTHER EDIT:
For anyone that comes across this it's worth reading the replies below, looks like it is 240hz after all. (edited)

It is definitely 240hz. Just the product Title is incorrect but if you scroll down you will see the model number LC49G95TSSPXXU which is actually 240hz. Ordered mine 2 months ago with the same title.

It's a good deal but in an 18 month window I've returned 3 of these - luckily Amazon gave me a full refund on the last one. The QA on these screens is non-exitent and all have inherent problems with flickering, scanlines and much more. I've 'side-graded' to a 38' 3840 x 1600 and couldn't be happier (Azer X38S)

I ordered this after the previous post. Title said 120hz, description said 240hz. I received the 240hz version

I imagine working or browsing the net on one of these feels like watching the tennis.

I bought this about 2 months ago. Was experiencing popping sound every few minutes on the left and right bottom corner. Apparently its a common issue. Then asked for a replacement and still the same issue.

    Using usb-c?
    If so,
I had to change the cable from the one that came with it and downgrade thunderbolt drivers on my laptop to stop it...
