    Blimey, just received watch. Submitted claim straightaway. Claim approval received less than 10 seconds after submitting. Can't knock that for service as long as trade in goes without a hitch. Might look at an S23U now.

    I used a Mi Band 1 for this deal a couple of months ago... no problem. They told me to include the strap, though I'm not sure it was necessary, but better safe than sorry.

    Yes when you're selecting the trade in you can select other as a brand, it just had to be in working condition

    Interesting, 3-4 days battery even with intensive use and AOD always on?
    The main reason I'm not getting a Samsung smartwatch is battery life

    Either wait for the Watch 6 Pro (which brings back the rotating bezel, the greatest thing Samsung watches have) or go for the cheaper Watch 4 Pro (same processor and regurlarly around ~£150 with band).

    I guess there is a wide range of straps so they let you choose which strap you want and just send a strapless watch with your chosen strap. Saves them sending a standard strap many people don't want

    You can trade in literally any old smartish watch, I traded in an old £5 watch that I had bought from poundland and no issues.

    I bought this for £8.39 last month and traded it in for my Watch 5 - amazon.co.uk/dp/…C3H, no issue at all. Although now I wish I'd waited for this deal, cost me £147 after trade in for the Watch 5 40mm BT. (edited)

    Bit off a hassle but saw the model without strap for £324 on BLC. Random errors coming up and automatically diverting to the one with strap for £386. After a bit of playing around, the correct one added to basket.
    Only the Black Titanium one though at this price. Wish the Grey Titanium model was available without strap.

    First add to basket watch with strap, then search watch without strap using model code and add. Go to basket and remove that one with strap
