Disney’s All-Star Music Resort certainly lives up to its name, with instrument-shaped pools and a hall of fame in the lobby.

The five themed areas that make up this Disney All-Star Resort pay homage to the genres of jazz, country, calypso, Broadway, and rock ‘n’ roll.

Gigantic maracas, violins and drum kits are propped up against the different apartments. You'll also spot silhouetted musicians on billboards, and a giant pair of cowboy boots. The swimming pools, meanwhile, are shaped like super-sized pianos and guitars.

Holidays here come with our Hotel rep and 24/7 Online service. This means that an English-speaking TUI rep will visit your hotel during your stay, and info and support are available 24/7 via the TUI app.
Each room booking must include a guest aged 21 or above. When you arrive, you may be asked for a credit card to cover any ad hoc purchases, and a deposit, which will be refunded at the end of your stay - provided no damage has been caused to your room or its contents.

Rooms: 1700 Buildings: 10 buildings per resort Lifts: 2 per building

Can anyone recommend a good website/blog for how to get started when looking at booking a trip to Disney.

We are looking at next spring taking in as much as possible over 10days. Both Disney and Universal.

    Check out "thedibb" website

Taking into account travelling you're gonna end up with 5/6 days there it will take that just to get rid of the jet lag. Really not worth going regardless of the price (edited)

Totally agree 7 days isn't long enough and there are better deals always popping up. Not a great fan of on site over priced resorts and food and drink, idrive is a good location at a fraction of the price.

If you must stay on site choose anything other than the All Star resorts and make sure it includes Dining/Dollars.

Nothing wrong with the All star resorts. They are at the lower end of the budget but perfectly fine if you want the full Disney experience. You are just that little further from the parks.

Probably a reasonable enough price for a late booking at a Disney resort. We're going on the 10th for 2 weeks and paid £832.25pp, admittedly not staying onsite, but staying at a nice hotel on International Drive near to the convention centre. I too don't think a week is enough for Orlando, we always do at least 2 weeks, once 3, just so much to do!

TUI use Melbourne airport now, not Sanford. Melbourne is a good 90-minute drive from Orlando, just advising people. Sanford was/is much more accessible.

We just got back and flew to Melbourne yes it is a 90 minute drive but you get through security so quick and the people that work there are amazing fly into mco your looking at 2 hours for passport control so makes no difference time wise really

Ive not voted for me you need at least 10 days preferably 14+ its like a 8.5 hour flight for a week and then theres park ticket costs on top which is about £500 each added on that so its realistically 50% more in cost.. Personally id recommend paying that bit more and having a longer stay.

Its a great holiday im going in October for 10 days usually we do minimum 14 but theres only me and my son going rather than a bigger group so ive kept it as a bit of shorter stay.
