I bought one about 3 months ago new from Argos. I'm not impressed with battery life. It struggles to get a full day out of it with moderate use.

Try to disable always on display, I went from barely one day to two full days.

andoid man myself, so cant say from personal experience, but it is decent discount on the normal price.

Also depends on whether you will utilise all the features or not, also whether you are currently in the apple walled garden too. M

it was 242 or so a few weeks ago, brand new from Giffgaff...no time machine but that deal was better

Remember Series 7 is as good as latest series 8 unless you are a woman trying to get pregnant and tracking her menstrual cycle or anticipating a serious car crash on a lonesome road.

CPU, battery life, WiFi and everything else are identical to latest Series 8 but Series 7 is often available for much less. The case is identical but Series 7 comes in different colours (including dark blue which looks nice - S8 is only midnight, starlight, silver and red).

Yeah I thought this was the case. Ordered at a slightly cheaper price now.

I’ve got this watch and the green colour of the case is really subtle and tbh hard to feel the difference between my old space grey v3 and this v7

I was about to press the button on one of these when I noticed a series 8 for £293.
    Obviously got that instead
Reconditioned apparently but the strap box was sealed, the charger still coiled as new and the watch face flawless (edited)

Hi. Do you have any more information on where this came from please?

You can do it cheaper from CeX - £210 grade B, plus any band you can get - I got one from mymemory for £15 so £225 in total. Mine came with box all accessories but I don’t think the box is guaranteed.

Sorry just noticed this deal is new - but option above incase anyone wants to save a bit. (edited)

Picked one up from John Lewis recently.. Needs a charge every 24hrs 🫢

Yes, that’s to be expected and as advertised. An Apple Watch does way more than a Fitbit or similar device.
I don’t find it a problem. I just charge it when I sleep using a stand next to my bed. I often use it for sleep tracking too and just leave it on charge for a couple of hours in the evening before I go to bed.

Is this a good deal? My fossil smart watch is about to pack up. Barely half a day of battery. I’m on the fence.

Currently have a series 4. Been waiting for a good deal. Hope the 7 last as long as my 4.

Cheers OP for posting, much appreciated

Same still have series 4, 3-4 years old 84% battery health still lasts me a full day

It’s really good, I got this from eBay an excellent condition one for £220 with Cellular + GPS , £290 for a brand new one is so good.

I really love this watch, don’t have to pull my phone out in work meetings anymore. + closing your move rings daily becomes addictive so encourages you to get more active.

Bought my partner an Apple Watch last year she loves it I can tell how far we walked on Sunday how many Calories we burned etc. Joking aside they are really and if her phone is close she can answer it on the watch. Oh and that’s a great price

Once they offer 7 days of battery on regular use I will buy one. Ridiculous.

Decent deal for a new one, but you can pick up near new ones on Facebook marketplace for less than this. I just picked up a series 8 (which is 4 months old) for £240. Absolutely mint condition. There was plenty of near new series 7 for about 200.

Obviously be careful of scammers etc, but if you want to save some money: plenty of people buy these, don’t like them and list them for sale. (edited)
