Good price for a 16GB card with AV1 encoder and decoder.
Acer's spin on the Intel® Arc™ A770 GPU takes your gaming to the next level. 16 GB of GDDR6 memory means games like Apex Legends can spit out crazy FPS even when you have apps running in the background. For extra firepower in titles like COD Warzone, the overlockable GPU ramps up to 2400 MHz. And the cooling system is no joke. It pairs a vapour chamber with dual fans for maximum chill in heated sessions.
Good to know:
- Xe Super Sampling lets you enjoy ultra-realistic visuals in games with ray tracingand AI-Enhanced upscaling
- For nocturnal gaming, the 92 mm FrostBlade fan keeps noise to a minimum
- Game your way by playing with the overclocking, fan speeds and RGB lighting in the Predator BiFrost Utility app
- A HDMI 2.1 port and three DisplayPort 2.0s give you loads of options – go for 8K or team up 4 monitors

sorted byAV1 and 16GB are the only advantages over a 3070/4060ti
AV1 and 16GB (albeit you're not really gonna max out a 12GB buffer with this class GPU) against a 6700XT and middle of the pack RT performance
The 6700XT is still the GPU to buy and comes with starfield for £299.99
Performance still lags behind both it's competition, so does driver stability (it's 90% there now) not to mention the greater incompatibilities with older games (edited)
The ONLY reason to buy an Intel GPU is because you already have the need and expertise to use it for non-gaming purposes (and can't afford to go Ngreedia).
The problem with the A770 is the extra £100 only nets you a ~5% performance gain and an extra 8gb of VRAM, if you're building a budget rig for 1080p or 1440p with modest settings, 8gb of VRAM ought to suffice.
If you're upgrading something older then stick to Nvidia/AMD.
As ever though, drivers play a massive role in how good a GPU performs, they have gotten much better since release. (edited)

"Compared to the launch drivers, certain games like CS:GO, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Stellaris, and Half-Life 2 will see more than a 70% increase in performance.
Moving on to DirectX11 games, the latest Intel Arc drivers provide a 19% performance boost compared to the launch drivers. The 99th percentile FPS, which represents overall smoothness, improves by 20% with the latest drivers."
