Have an MSI gaming x trio 6800xt, no issues and it's quite the chunky card. Cards bending isn't an AMD exclusive

Eh, just get a used 3060 ti off eBay for £240 instead.

I picked up a 3070 for £240 off FB marketplace in Jan so definitely deals out there for used but would say mostly 3060 ti’s for about £240 used. What I would say is £60 more than a used 3060 ti for 10% uplift in performance, new instead of used, warranty and extra 4gb VRAM is not bad at all. (edited)

This or a 4060 is the question I'm trying to answer.

Second hand 3070s on eBay are around the £300 mark.

I have an rtx3060ti - great card but the 8gb is becoming a problem longer term. At this price I would get a 6750xt or a 6800.

I guess the three fan versions are better regarded.

Can confirm, these GPUs can get silly hot at times. They definitely aren't as efficient as their RTX 40xx counterparts but for the price you simply can't get any better atm.

I have the 3-fan MSI RX 6750XT and it does get very warm, even with good ventilation but the performance is top notch for it's price bracket.. can't fault it. Not sure how well these would fair given they're a two fan design but as long as you got good airflow you should be ok. I got mine last April for £370, so the prices have come down a bit.. I'd say £299 for this model a good deal, though you might want to wait out a couple months for the RX 7000 series GPUs to come down as they do feature better FSR performance and AV1 encoding.

Heat tho (literally), haven't seen em this low b4 (edited)

Going off what the other comment said, 6800 is awesome but I think 6750 XT will do you just fine since you play mainly indie games, it can handle much more than that just like shown in the video.

6750 XT is £90 cheaper (6800 cheapest on £390 on Ebuyer) and would probably suit your needs perfectly.

4060 Ti makes no sense at all unless you need the AV1 encoding for streaming. If you're just gaming this card is amazing value.

I also posted a deal of the XFX QICK 319 model, which is on Ebuyer for £329 and is a 3 fan model which has better cooling and is quieter, but whether you think that's worth an extra £29 is up to you, it is the one I went for though. (edited)

Cheers. I will stick with this. I have an Iceflow 240 AIO and hope will be compatible with this.

Good price for this card in the current overinflated climate.
Not seen it under £300 since autumn last year.

Agreed, we'd all love to see lower prices, I've sat with my 1050Ti for a while now, mostly as I don't play new AAA titles but been looking for an upgrade for a while now and for 12gb. (edited)

Finally bitten after ordering and cancelling various GPUs. This is probably a sensible choice with the budget 4600G system I’ve got downstairs and a nice upgrade from the Chinese RX580 I’ve got in there. Need AMD for ChimeraOS. (edited)

I bought this exact model a year ago for £370, still going strong and no complaints although the electric bill has increased somewhat lol

How much do you play per day and how much increase?

I just got one and was wondering. I already undervolted mine lol

I need a replacement for my 5700XT. I don't want to dash out too much for a GPU where I mostly play indie games.
I want a decent card for 2K when I play some more demanding games. I don't need 200 fps and don't mind tuning down settings a bit to get better performance. Convince me not to pick this but a 4060Ti 16GB. I'm not sure if I want to spend 40-50% more considering my use case.

I would be eyeing new RX 6800 around 350-360 quid mark tbh. If only 7800 xt / 7900 GRE prices dropped it would have been no brainer.
