Has anyone used it yet who can talk about their experience?

This is good to try out for the price, but in all honesty you'll use it a handful of times at most. It requires a lot of gas to get up to temp and maintain that high temperature so isn't very practical on a gas bbq. You'll end up making really great pizzas and they do cook quite fast and evenly with the pizza stone included, but it does take long if you have to make multiple pizzas for everyone. Once you try pizza on something like this, you'll end up looking up Ooni pizza ovens and fighting the urge to buy them.

This price is worth it just to try out. Think about the cost of ordering in a pizza and you'll justify it

Still don't get why you'd want to cook pizza if you're doing a BBQ.....

I'm doing a couple of pizza's on my Gas BBQ tonight, nothing else.... Heat it up to 425-450F and let it stabilise at that temp for 10 minutes, add enamelled pizza stone (better than plain corderite imho) for another 10-15 minutes to heat up and cook the pizza with baking paper underneath it for 8-10 minutes, found it works really well on a Gas BBQ.

Cooks it way better than one in an indoor cooker

I visited a friend who simply put a pizza stone on top of his bbq and closed the lid. His pizzas came out brilliantly - and I am a fussy bugger when it comes to pizzas. So in my experience you don't need a whole new enclosure if your BBQ already has a lid. The paddle and the temperature gauge might be handy but you can pick those up elsewhere for less.

Ordered when it was £34 and still in its box, so will return that and have re-ordered @ new price.

    Thanks!

For those wondering, a pizza oven can go up to 500 degrees centigrade, far hotter than a domestic oven. We usually cook pizzas at 450C and they take about 90 seconds. Rather than baking paper we use flour to ensure the pizza doesn't stick to anything.

Does the whole enclosure go under your bbq lid? In the pictures looks like they put it on top of the lid (edited)

We have a log fire and bought a pizza stone rated to 600C, as the cheaper ones all broke. Works really well.
    And it heats the house.

Used to have something like this before going for an Ooni. It will work best if your BBQ is big enough to close the lid over the pizza oven. I assume there's a vent at the back of this, so it may help removing the middle grate/ griddle of your BBQ if it has 3 of them, as it will help with air flow from the burner over the tip of the pizza. That was for a 3 burner bbq (edited)
