    What is vitality?

Silly question but how does this compare to an epic / fenix 7?

Go check out the quantitative  scientist on YouTube he reviews them all against high spec industry standard gear etc
. My guess is Huawei will smash it to bits, the best in class will be apple 8 or apple se. Personally I run Garmin, an old vivoactive 3. I like the apps and it connects to all my gear ie bike computer, polar heart strap, cadence n speed sensors and they don’t have to be garmin. Oh and unlike apple the battery life isn’t 3 hours

This was £149 in Nov 2021 when I bought it. Great watch.

I got it for £118 in Dec 2021. Puzzled how older tech (2019) increases in price as the years go on and better alternatives come out

On one hand I'd take this over the 45/55 any day but on the other it's not such a great price for a 2019 watch...

Oh well things are getting more expensive. Except SSDs I guess. (edited)

When I was buing gamin the price of 245 and 55 was practically the same. The 245 is much better but I went for 55 due to better battery performance.

Thanks for the deal and thanks for the subsequent heads-up on the 245 Music . Went for the Music version in white in the end.

I want a device to record GPX tracks, this will do that but seems overkill for my needs. Anyone got any suggestions?
    tonarino's avatar
Yes it shows where you've run using GPS

My old vivoactive died recently and have been wearing an old bulky gshock - bought this to get tracking back, thanks!

This is a great watch, I love mine. I aspire to have a "superior" VO2 Max though. Mine ain't 54, that's for sure.
    wonderbrawl's avatar
Lol, mine is 54 exactly and I'm about 6kg overweight!

Good price. If you're not specifically after a Garmin, then I can recommend the Coros Pace 2 for £35 more. Its lighter and has better battery life. Might be even cheaper if you shop around.
