If you have issues, the three Indian ‘advisors’ on chat will give you the run around.

Tactics inc. ending your chat, without notice. You’ll have go through security and the end the chat again. Send you to the back of 20 person queue etc. They’re absolutely unbelievable, main reason for me to avoid three. No accountability.

Seems like a direct policy by these Indian centres to avoid genuine refunds etc.

I feel the majority of phone operators use the same people for offshore customer services. Their inability to listen to you is really key. Three are not alone in this.

This is the worst network you can think of slow data speeds and call drop outs all the time even though it’s cheap

Do you roam all year around?
if so - fair enough - you can go with iD / O2 etc deal - which includes roaming.

Otherwise this is fantastic deal for most people - like me - who don't roam in Europe all the time

With the 3 and Voda merge looming. Hopefully they can combine their network coverage too.

Thing is in my area you have two options EE or Three and EE are wayyy more expensive. However while I wont be buying their home broadband again as it sucks, for a mobile phone it's plenty fast enough. EE is not really any better from what I experienced when I was with them in 2017. So I do not see the extra price as worth it, I would not get 5G broadband again and will always go with a landline as it's reliable.

6 years in the tech space might as well be 100 years' advancement. You can't simply compare your results from such a long time ago and expect it to still hold up today.

EE itself is expensive. Have you tried it's MVNOs like RWG and LycaMobile?

Does this work in a 5G router or will it get banned?
    the4amfriend's avatar
It will, as long as your 5G router allows you to update the APN

My contract ends soon... With 3. Will I be able to take advantage of this offer and somehow retain my number? I've had the same number for 15 years.

3's closest SIM only deal is £20pm so this is almost half price saving.

You'll likely need to carry the number over to a PAYG SIM, then back to this new contract/SIM.

What is the roaming allowance for Ireland with Three? The website is particularly unclear with regards data. It says the Republic comes under some agreement and then puts it into every other country.
