    I've had these headphones for 8 months and it was between these and the Sony XM4 headphones. The sony's seemed to win most comparisons I could find but the QC 45 would always outscore on portability and comfort which was high on my list as I wanted one set of headphones to do it all. I had to admit to myself a while back that I made the wrong choice, I wouldn't call the headphones that potable at all, if you're outside and there's the slightest bit of wind the NC microphones pick it up and channel it in, using it for calls outside is also an no go if you're beside traffic or it is windy and you can't turn off the NC unlike the XM4s. So really these are for indoors and if that is the case I think the XM4s are the superior headphones on every level.

    Just a heads up, when I ordered the refurbished QC 45 yesterday it was not allowing me to use Student Discount. To bypass this just add a Flight adapter £2.99 in your basket and the Student Code should be accepted. Hope it helps (edited)
