o2 just gave me the unlock code

no they did the same to me, the team you called needs 30 days, tell them no, tell them the representative you spoke to said theres no extra charge and they can cancel it straight away, if they still insist talk to the manager and tell them that you paid off the phone and you want to cancel the airtime immediately and not get charged anything.

Ive requested my unlock code (they said 7 days), and paid off the handset. However to leave the airtime, they told me I have to give 30 days notice (is this correct). Basically costing me a months line rental. Did you guys all have to do this??

Why to order from ebay if o2 is doing for free they unlocked mine

funny you should say that, I actually bought it last night. Heard nothing from the seller yet though :(

I ordered a pair from John Lewis today for £269.00. They price matched RGB Direct who've had these headphone at the lower price for several weeks. I'm not voting, but a quick Google search will return at least two retailers who are £10 cheaper.

Fair enough, but you see my point as not everyone will be ordering 2 or more so may wanna keep them. But hope you do get some decent money for them :)

I've ordered two, one for me and one for the wife, she is not interested int he headphones in anyway so I'll be selling hers, I'll be happy with £200 for them...

Well see that's why I posted this because not everyone is guaranteed to get these and those who do I imagine will keep because these are really good headphones and for free with an amazing phone why sell? Lol

Good deal But these are about to go very cheap on eBay when flooded with people selling the free pairs on the P20 deal.

The last similar promotion they did opened at 9AM so will probably be the same this time

Directly from the Huawei site, please read below - it seems that the promotion was a big success. Expect to see a lot of these Bose headphones on the market soon!! "Due to the exceptionally high pre orders of P20 Pro and P20, some customers may receive their new P20 Pro or P20 later than expected. For these customers, Huawei will still honour claims where customers purchase/collect their pre ordered products until 3rd May, 2018, the final purchase date as required by the terms and conditions. Please ensure you submit your claims promptly, and before the claim window ends on 19th May, 2018."

anyone know when the processing opens? will it be midnight 20th? so i need a picture of the 02 invoice (that came with the phone) and details of the imei is that it?

Yea I feel sorry for people who actually have to use this network and have issues when they have the worst customer services I've experienced.

The service is a joke I've rang them countless times to no success in the end I had to go on chat and speak to the gyru who gave me. It after 5 days of waiting

Is anyone who ordered directly from 3 having a problem getting preorder proof? My dad ordered it on the 5th with them on phone, and they took payment on 6th. Now they're denying it was preordered - need a proof of preorder to submit to Bose

Think it's a case of unwilling rather than unable but hey ho, I'm one for holding a grudge so bad luck for Dixons Carphone (annoyed) Normally buy my phones SIM free from them. Ordered with O2 instead, Doubt I'll use the £100 flight voucher but after £105 cashback and 25% off airtime through my work the deal comes in at just under £1000 over the two years. Still comes out cheaper than paying for it outright and using a monthly sim. Annoyed to be paying £200 extra though & annoyed I'm not getting my headphones lol.

What the hell are these phones first time I Hurd of it on here and since then 3or so deals for the same dam phone if it’s not a iPhone it’s not worth buying heheh

The deal at O2 for £407 is much better than this but I couldn't pass the credit check for that one, so this will have to do. At least CPW offers the phone in blue (but still no twilight) and I won't have to go through the bureaucratic loops of cancelling with O2. Can confirm that TopCashback is registering a £50 cashback for the SIM.

Ordered the pro version with the same 1 month contract total £774.50 plus £50 cashback from Quidco and hopefully sell the headphones for at least £150 making the phone cost under £600

My deal comments is not based on c/back entirely. I have said potentially and given a s/shot of which amount might track. The fact is I have posted a cheaper deal without c/back...... Even cheaper with Absolutely no justification in 'banning these c/back' deals. Saving money.... No brainer

I'm not voting..... But these cashback deals should be banned. Not Gauranteed.

my partner got an e mail saying no stock, have to wait for next month, bit annoying but also works out well as her current contract runs out next month so saves paying for 2

Yeah free case and simple screen protector, early days so no decent brand accessories available yet unfortunately. Have to say the camera is great under lighting too, bene on holiday and took some photos which came out great.

Got my blue one too, early days but camera does look fantastic and with nova installed the software is looking ok... Little tip for those ordering; there is a basic silicone case included in the box so don't worry about ordering a cheap case to use on day one.

Got mine today, it's great. A massive jump from the P9 I have. Cashback still at £10.50 but is not finalised so fingers crossed for more!

I got an email last night saying my order is complete. And another this morning with DPD tracking info. So they obviously got stock of the blue after all.

EE website confirms am getting it tommrow the Pro black version. :D

The Bose QC 35 headphones are wireless I believe

The colour shown in the deal pic is twilight blue which isn't sold by CPW? Also ironic they give away headphones on a phone with no headphone jack, has an adapter in the box though. The P20 Pro seems good deal, I don't see significant upgrade in camera vs the P10 on paper.

So does that mean if it is not delivered till the 10th May (new delivery date, although they are trying hard at CPW, bless them), headphone deal is invalid?

Probably the fist phone to be equipped with a camera better than the three year old 950XL

I made the request online and they accepted it giving me a case number. I then ordered at full price and contacted them later with the reference number to get the difference refunded. Worth the hassle for JL’s 2 year warranty.

Was given some of these for Xmas. Very happy with them, I think the wife paid £159 from John Lewis.

My old man used to have just the sentence for this situation: Are they gold plated?

Yea! And iPhone X!

Decent bass. Heat. Need to save up for the dole money as have been spending too much lately.. Cheers.

This is the real problem with the vision of companies like Apple have in removing the headphone jack. Myself and many others would happily jump on to the wireless headphones bandwagon because they are more convenient for some of us in the end. However the compromise on sound quality isn't something we should really be settling for when a solution exists especially at the price these companies are charging for their hardware.

Earcups pivot and fold for easy storage Significant noise reduction for travel Deep, powerful sound for the music you love Inline Mic/remote for music and calls

and that is worth the hassle when broken? I don't think so

Thanks. Good old Apple. Why follow a standard when you can do it different.

The inline mic/buttons are wired different.. android and everyone else (MP3 players etc) follow the old standard.. apple invented a new incompatible one, so the buttons won't work. You can just buy the other cable though as it's detachable. Or you can get a really cheap one on eBay with no buttons.

There is even Apple version

Not the stupid ones without headphone sockets...

Yeh, see that says 2 years added cover, not 5. The headphones are classed as technology so you get 2 years, that's all that's meant when it says up to 5 years. If you click the 'more about added care' it explains this..

Tried to price match with JL but Weybridge Audio OOS so not possible. Ordered from Exceptional AV instead as same price Thanks OP!

Just found this which may help

It was £30 my mistake but yes it extends it to 5 years and cover accidental damage. No brainier really. It was £20 for the wireless soundsport

Can you let me know if you successfully get 5 years cover for £20 extra? not sure that's the option, as this falls under 'technology': so for an extra £20 they could make your 2 year guarantee cover accidental damage just..

Pleased to have helped :D Used mine on the train down to London Yesterday - amazing sound and noise cancellation

Just picked up a pair in the York BOSE outlet store for £229.95. Opened them and in perfect condition with all the cables. Bargain at this price (y)

I wonder if this applies to outlets too. Planning to visit Gunwharf next week Friday, would be great if they could be had for £229.

You can switch the button from google assistance to toggling the ANC on the II's rather than having to use the app. I'm planning on picking up a pair of the QC35 II's on saturday from a local retailer who is selling them for the same price as the originals on amazon etc. (if they have any left in stock)

You can go into the shop and compare both side by side - I did

Bose QuietComfort 25 Headphones - £159 @ Amazon
Found 14th FebFound 14th Feb
Seems to be a good price at £159

I had a prior version for that were about 6 years old, electrically I had no issues but when the plastics that held one cup on failed and snapped well out of warranty Bose would offer no spares or support. I was told by other people (when trying to get a plastic clip elsewhere) if the set had been younger then Bose may have allowed me to "upgrade" to the latest model by paying for a new set at half the retail price. Don't get me wrong I knew they were 6 years old, but Bose is not a budget brand and I can still get parts for my much older Sennheisers. The clips were redesigned a few years ago but honestly I expected a little better support on what were (when new) a £200 set of noise cancelling headphones on a part that was designed to move and flex and so at greater risk of failure.

Depends if you actually workout or just stand around.....

I want a pair for the gym but wondering if these would be a bit over the top..

I've got 2 pairs (one retail and one factory hand modified preproduction/demo pair) and both have failed once. They are fixable though, if you are handy with a soldering iron it's not too tricky. I wouldn't let it put me off.. the noise cancelling is excellent for the price.

Had mine since July 15 working perfect. I had to replace the cable from headphones to your device but that was a few quid on amazon.

Are there any recommended WIRED alternatives for the money or less if these aren’t that good?

Ive purchased these with a OnePlus 3. Sound works perfectly, but inputs don't work. I.e Volume Up/Down, Pause&Play.

Had wireless a few times, still use a pair for the gym, but the persistent charging, phones dying in the middle of a commute, and also degrading battery life over time makes them more of a pain haha. I've found wired tangle free earphones to be the best compromise. Unfortunately there aren't that many.

Hah I used the pouch for a bit then just gave up. Your best bet would be wireless headphones mate. Then again then you have the issue of charging the damn things lol

Bose QuietComfort 25 Around-Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones at Amazon for £149

Found these little gems for a good price, cheapest I've seen for a while to be honest. This looks like just for Andriod, so make sure you click on the correct choice.

You mean for Bluetooth right? Not for the QC25?

I got mine, and in terms of sound, feel and noise-cancellating they are unsurprisingly great. Only thing is, if I turn my head moderately sharply, the noise-cancelling seems to cut out. Is this a problem anyone else has had? Will probably email BOSE, but just wondered if it was something silly.

Thanks for the reply :)

Didn't deal with Bose, Amazon handled all the returns, and it was easy I must say, amazon are great when it comes to that On average each pair lasted 6 months so never pushed any warranty limits. I will say that when my Sony are due to be replaced I would still consider Bose, but not the 25s and I'd do my research carefully on the newer models before buying.

So Bose were quite good about honouring the guarantee then? I think its 2 years?

Bose QuietComfort 35 Wireless Headphones II - Silver - AMAZON - £308.47
Found 7th JanFound 7th Jan
Silver version slightly cheaper than the black version. This isn't as cheap as ive seen it before though.

I really didn't want to spend more than £150 on NC headphones, but after disappointed AKG N60 NC performance, I figured I would have to spend more. My key requirements where good NC and the ability to pair a tablet and phone and switch between them seamlessly as possible. After much research and in store testing, only the BOSE could provide what I wanted. Sure, the NC was marginally better with the Sony, but the multiple device support was not as well implemented. The senheisser pcx-550 was hopelessly inadequate in this respect. The QC35 was money well spent for me. I can connect my tablet and phone at the same time. I can be watching a video and if I get a call, the video pauses and I can answer the call. Once the call finishes I can go back to my video. And the NC on my tube and train commute is more than good enough.

I bought them for sleeping 💤 in, they are very comfy. I have tried everything to combat a snoring partner, ear plugs plus these work like a charm, sometimes on a bad night I even put a little background music to completely muffle any snoring activity, yes expensive, but worth every penny for a sound sleep.

Passive NC works ok for 90% of people I would say. I partly agree with your comment, but it is like saying that people buy iPhones cause screen quality is good for "old eyes"

It actually means you don’t need the volume as loud which is nicer on the old ears, and nicer for the people sitting sitting around you depending on leakage (which the Bose aren’t the best at, but if the ANC helps keep the volume down the better). But I’m sure your ‘cool’ comment was bait rather than a lack of knowledge around ANC ;)

The Sony’s are probably better at ANC, but I don’t think many more are unless you can enlighten me? And maybe i’m in a minority, but I don’t think I’d drop £300 on headphones only to be flipping around some after market items to make them more comfortable when there are alternatives that already do that job
