I know it’s probably been cheaper but…

I just picked this up having missed out on Amazons deal last week (wanted on for my birthday!)

Currys are discounting this by £50.00 and a further £25 off with the trade-in voucher code. Seriously any old rubbish just thrown in a bin by the collection counter, nobody even asked me for it and the code works regardless.

Blue Light Card holder can save a bit more if you don’t mind buying a gift card for the remaining value.

I’m happy with sub-£200 and for the probe version too.

Any way never posted a deal but I thought this was good if like me you don’t mind the price.

This Ninja Foodi Max air fryer's Dual Zone design lets you cook 2 different foods with different temperatures, times and settings. MAX by name, max by nature - roast a whole 2 kg chicken in one drawer and air fry crispy French fries in the other. Use the SYNC function and they'll both be ready to serve at the same time. The Digital Cooking Probe keeps a close eye on your food's temperature as it cooks and tells you when it needs to come out – handy if you like your steak medium-rare. Expecting guests? Use the Match setting to double your serving size with the same settings across both drawers. Can your fan oven do all that?

Good to know

  • Create great tasting, healthier meals with up to 75% less fat than traditional frying

Going to be honest, lots more maintenance and you end up going back to using the oven

We find it a doddle to clean, we just fill it with hot water to just above the tray squirt some fairy in, swoosh it around for 10 seconds to froth it up, leave it for 5 mins and swill it all out and the grease has gone then just wash the inside like you do a normal bowl or plate in 30 seconds.
I guess some people dont clean it every use and it becomes discusting and food/oil build up stuck to it, we rarely use the oven now because it costs us like 3p per meal using this on octopus tracker vs around 30p using the oven (edited)

What qualifies as ‘old kitchen tech’? Do they even bother to ask for it if you collect?

No, in my experience nobody asked me for it.

I had a 13 year old hand blender with a burnt out motor, so still recycled it there.

@jimmyclapham how do you purchase this with the blue light ? I'm not understanding the gift card bit ?
    Edit:
Just checked blue light card website,, understand it now. You have to buy a currys gift card to buy this airfryer. Thanks (edited)

I am thinking of buying my first air fryer and considering this or Instant Vortex Plus VersaZone Air Fryer I like the idea that you can it as one big drawer in the vortex or 2 which may suit our family of 4. Which would be best. Many thanks

I'm in the same boat, I can't decide. The Ninja seems to be able to cook at a higher temperature but I like the idea of one big tray in case I ever need it, not sure how often I would use it though

Anyone can comment since owning this model please? Is it brill? Drawers seems a great size for medium chicken? Thanks (edited)
