Who is creatine for/is it worth it for me?

I run mainly (50 ish miles a week at the moment) and gym 3-4 times a week. I’m having a post gym protein shake at the moment but nothing else.

    Have a read through this

    healthline.com/nut…ine

You may have to keep refreshing the page every so often to keep reading, but it’ll give you an idea.

Imo generally creatine benefits are overblown & exagerated. I used to take it regularly as a very active gym user & sprint athlete, and although noticed some benefits, it’s hard to know if this was a placebo effect. I gained a little strength in my lifting & my weight increased a little, but you will have water retention from this, so factor that into some of the weight gain.
I would say however, no real negatives from this personally, other than less cash in my account.

How this compared against optimum nutrition brand for taste?
    mjoyce0901's avatar
Don’t go for a brand in this context, it’s the same ingredient (edited)

Got two blood tests and two urinine tests done while taking creatine. The doctor thought my liver and kidneys were failing due to the level of toxins in my blood and urine. After stopping the creative it went back to normal. If you’re taking creative I recomend getting a test done to make sure your liver and kidneys can handle it. Continuing with those toxins in my blood for a long time could have caused serious harm.

creatine is a great way to help with workouts and get bigger without resorting to steroids though. Just be safe with it. (edited)

What's the difference between ordinary creatine monohydrate powder and micronised creatine monohydrate powder?
    ANDYGUY's avatar
Absorbed more easily in your body when its micronised. No other difference.

Nice one, just ordered. Started taking creative last month for the first time. Did the seven day loading phase alongside three shakes a day, and it’s quite scary how much weight you put on (mainly water retention). Gained 5kg and had to buy new work shirts
  31. CraigeDavido's avatar
Bought this other day on Amazon 12 quid, strawberry flavour tho. Thanks, may as well get more in, ordered this, 2 of them. Been taking this for 3 month's, and its just run out, noticed little bit of strength gain, and physique is better. I take one scoop a day, 5 days a week. Either in with my porridge/oats, or mix it in with my protein shake, when I'm working out.

Hi , Great job with your first deal post, and what a find to share for it, Im really no expert on this, but judging from the discussion thats been created from your deal, this was an amazing find to share. (The votes say so too (780 heat right now). It looks to me as if your on the right track deal and site wise, but just to let you know (Also goes to every other member too), If you need ever need any support / assistance on site, you are more than welcome to tag me, or just drop me/the team a message.

Just bought a couple of these from Amazon the other day. C'est la vie. Also get my bloods tested regularly and my kidney function improved. Go figure as they say. (edited)

Can anyone recommend a good pre-workout?
    skyarsenal100's avatar
Are pre work outs even necessary?

    Heat
  36. Redinho's avatar
Just got some delivered. Any advice for taking it as a new user? Do I need to do anything special at the start? Remember reading about loading or something to begin with, and then just after weights or every day?
    god's avatar
When you first take it you need to do it as a repository instead of orally
  37. _Achilles_'s avatar
I have two tubs. Got one free... it's rubbish. I didn't see any pump with water retention etc. The only one I recommend is Gold's creatine... the green container micronised. (edited)
    Itsmenotthee's avatar
its all the same stuff, and takes up to 2 weeks of constant daily use for effective results
  38. Kozor's avatar
    Nice find OP!
