    Ordered this at the weekend. Was planning to wait for this exact model later in the year.

    But I'll be surprised if it drops much lower on Black Friday. 20% off is Ooni's usual BF approach.

    It looks like this is a new and improved (but also more expensive) version of the Karu.

    It still doesnt come with the gas burner - so its hardly much of an upgrade at all, apart from the glass hinged door - which I dont think warrants the extra cost!

    A decent discount but tbh having owned multiple different 12" pizza ovens and now having recently purchased the koda 16 there is no going back to a smaller pizza oven the extra room and the L shaped burner on the koda 16 is a game changer IMHO. (edited)

    Have the original Karu, still going strong 3.5 years after buying. Wouldn't hesitate to get one if getting in to garden pizzas. Bit of charcoal and a bag of kindling and you're away.

    Hoping to upgrade to a Gozney Dome next year.

    The dome isn’t much of an upgrade to be honest. It’s just an expensive oven that can cook 1 pizza at a time.
    For the same money you can get a clay oven with a decent chimney that will be around 1m size - big enough for 2 to 3 sized pizzas at once.
    And it will look farrrrrrr better.
