B550M if you want more I/O better USB performance etc.
Any X570 chipset motherboard if you want to be silly and spend too much.
If the PSU isn't too cheap, one could upgrade to something like the 6600M discrete GPU in the future, and get a massive boost in gaming performance. There's a lot of fun to be had building a decent PC at the lowest possible cost.
However, which Intel 4-core are you referring to? All 12th gen and newer Intel i5 CPUs have anywhere between 6 and 12 cores. For example, my laptop's i5-12500H is a 12-core 16-thread and rivals the desktop Ryzen 7 5700X. (edited)
5700x is a better buy. If you can strech a tiny bit.
