£24 for what is essentially a Vinyl Engraver.

if you value any records, do not buy.

Agreed, but if you really value your records and want to get the best possible fidelity out of them, get them on CD.

I'm not a vinyl snob whatsoever - I really don't understand the fuss beyond a tactile nostalgia factor.

But these things are the worst. Even for a bit of fun playing some old records, you're likely to get some "wow and flutter", and speed issues which generally ruins the music before it even gets to the terrible speaker.

That's my experience with a couple of these anyway.

I own it and every year on the anniversary of my dad's passing I get it out and play some of my dad's old (sentimental value, nothing else) records and it's done the job for many years now. Probably isn't the same sort of quality you get if you pay a lot more money but it's been brilliant for me and what I use it for

Please for the love of Jeebus don't play your records on this. The stylus will either skip and skate over the records causing scratches, or will dig too far into the grooves.

The lack of arm weight adjustment makes this an absolute destroyer of records.

If all you want is something to play some old/inexpensive records for nostalgic reasons then this is perfect. Thanks for posting op, great deal.

'Old' and 'Records' shouldn't be used in the same sentence - god forbid somebody plays a first-pressing of Dark Side on this by mistake

Trash...but if I weren’t given a suitcase player one Xmas, don’t think I would have started my love for vinyl again.

Come Jan I replaced it with something half decent mind
