Cancelled my order was only 4 jackets, ordered around 11.20 and reason stated buyer asked to cancel.

Rang ebay and they said to report the seller via link attached

Nice. Pin this to the top. I was looking for a way to contact them about it

I'd suggest EVERYONE to CHECK THEIR REFUNDS .

Trespass has only given me a partial refund on my order and has tried to steal some money from me :/

Had to get Ebay involved and have to wait a few days to give them a chance to refund me the full amount.

So now this has swayed me into giving them a negative review... (edited)

EXACTLY the same has happened to me!!

I have just had a dispatch email from ebay for a ladies down jacket, unfortunately this was the only one that the price jumped from £5.99 to £80 when I hit buy it now on ebay . Refused my cancellation request as well so it will have to go back obviously.
But I think there is obviously someone working over the weekend as they have dispatched this. I can only presume all the £5.99 orders will be cancelled in due course.

Make sure to leave negative seller feedback - they did this 2 years in a row, it is NOT a mistake and they should have to deal with the consequences.

If they handle the cancellations correctly then people have no reason to complain

Marked all the stuff in my order under "item hasn't arrived". Now I fully expect to still not get them, however I'd hope that'd mean they can't say I wanted to cancel my order. (edited)

I did this they still cancelled & refunded them.

I'm not saying anyone should leave feedback for the orders, but as I believe it's only fair for people to be shown an accurate representation of a seller, anyone wanting to leave feedback after the order is cancelled, here's how..

Go to the eBay webpage and log in. If you're on mobile then change your page layout to desktop. Go to the trespass eBay store, then to their feedback section. Scroll to the bottom of the page and there will be a leave feedback button, which shows all your eBay orders and not just Trespass ones. You can now leave feedback for any order which the seller has cancelled.

    Report the seller for:
The seller has violated one of eBay’s policies
Seller doesn’t want to complete the sale

    Seller: trespass

    Fill in the additional details:
Seller stated I requested to cancel my order, this is false. Seller is avoiding eBay's policy by making false statements. (edited)

2 ebay orders, 1st pending cancellation, 2nd in limbo, sent them a message now to process a refund.

Do these glitches ever get honoured? I'm not gonna bother next time.
    Willy_Wonka's avatar
    Some do.

Problem is just 2 of theses deals got over 60,000 clicks to the website & as the price was £5.99 you can only imagine how many people went on to order & the number of products they bought.

Some of the products were vastly underpriced by more than £100. Even chairs that you could easily flog on for a £50 profit. Some tents a lot more.

I saw over 5000 orders on just 2 chairs for example. The money Trespass would have lost would have been astronomical, if they had the stock in the first place.

Regular users on this site knew full well the chances of these Trespass deals being honoured was next to nothing. No retailer would have honoured the sales in these circumstances. It would have bankrupt Trespass. But some would have ordered just in case.

The thing is you should always expect the cancellation & you should always expect your money to be tied up for a week or two. However, sometimes they go through but never at this level & never with a company that sends weekend orders out on a Monday-Wednesday, like Trespass does.

people should be ashamed trying to find excuses to leave a negative feedback..
if is a human mistake .. grow up and be gentlemen.. why everyone is full of greed that turn them into bitter people !!
I still didn't my cancelation email.. but have zero issue with Trespass if they cancelled. someone may get sacked for that mistake!!

    **Please EVERYONE CHECK YOUR REFUNDS**.

Trespass did not refund my whole order and gave me a PARTIAL REFUND trying to steal from me . I had to open a case with Ebay and wait several days but Trespass did not resolve the issue.

Ebay had to force a refund.

Definitely giving them a negative review for this!

I wonder how many other customers they have tried to steal from

I don't think you can leave feedback for the cancelled orders, I've just tried and there's no option

Try this (recommended elsewhere in the thread):

Go to the eBay webpage and log in. If you're on mobile then change your page layout to desktop. Go to the trespass eBay store, then to their feedback section. Scroll to the bottom of the page and there will be a leave feedback button, which shows all your eBay orders and not just Trespass ones. You can now leave feedback for any order which the seller has cancelled.

Father Christmas will be personally delivering them to us. Nice touch.

6 Days later, no refund, no response to my messages, no social media posts or communication of any kind as far as I can tell. Pretty shocking response really, oh well, one more day and it will be possible to leave negative feedback on ebay.

This link should show all your recent purchases and allow you to leave the appropriate feedback.

Before Trespass cancels my order, I have reported and raised Item not received on Ebay. That way, at least they can't claim that the Buyer cancelled the order.

Email just received from Amazon cancelling an order:

    Dear Customer,

We're writing to inform you that your order from Trespass UK has been cancelled.

Any payment that has been made on this order will be refunded within 5-7 business days.
If you're still interested in this item, please search for it again on Amazon.co.uk.

We've included your order details below for reference.

We value you as a customer and hope you will continue shopping on Amazon.co.uk.

    Warmest Regards

Anyway regardless they send out or cancel the orders, it's better than keeping these orders but not fulfil them for months. (edited)

My Amazon order was cancelled yesterday, one eBay order cancelled and another still live. All were ordered within 20 minutes of each other. Could do with the stuff on the order that's still live but doubt if I'll get it.
    r4w80's avatar
I am not going to leave any negative feedback but reported them for the reason on cancelling the order. I understand why they do what they do, but the silence doesn't help. Putting the ebay account as "seller away" is another strange way to handle things. If mass sending a message to customers wasn't possible, I like to remember that we live and breath of social media (including hukd) and a simple explanation on face book, twitter etc would still have been regarded highly. (edited)
  22. Parappathepappa's avatar
My guess is they'll cancel the big orders, possibly honour the little ones. Just to counteract likely reseller competition, and reduce a wave of negative feedback.
    Jordanb1234's avatar
You don’t remember the Under Armageddon they took everyone’s money and kept it for nearly 2 months for some people before refunding… the only people who got items was a few eBay sellers who payed for next day shipping who got a few hundred pairs of shoes

Looks like lots of people are going to TrustPilot to write reviews, I will be doing the same and I would encourage others too if the order is cancelled with “buyer requested to cancel”. Shouldn’t be allowed to get away with such sly tactics.

Hey guys! Don't forget to leave negative reviews on the Amazon Trespass store, TrustPilot, and eBay store.

    Link for Trustpilot: uk.trustpilot.com/rev…s=1

I'm leaving negative due to the way Trespass is trying to handle this. My order was cancelled with a reason: "Buyer requested cancellation of this item," which I never did.

Trespass has done nothing with my orders. I've opened disputes on eBay a few days ago and I'm still waiting. (edited)
    liamions's avatar
You'll be waiting a long time if you don't action it, think ebay don't automatically do anything for a month after you open dispute. Trespass sure as hell won't do anything. You need to go into your dispute and escalate it and ebay will refund it within 5 mins
  28. stemac123's avatar
Can they still receive feedback if they cancel?
    TECHSPEC's avatar
Go into the feedback page. It allows feedback for cancelled items, or follow feedback reminder link.

They automatically hide it in your purchased items page.
  29. CreepyZander's avatar
Can you mark the item as received, would this prevent it from being cancelled?

By them asking for the item to be cancelled, does this prevent the item having feedback left?

Can positive feedback be changed to negative at a later date? (edited)
    Strideopus's avatar
You cannot mark an item as received (that question is just for feedback).
You cannot change your positive feedback to a negative later. Also do not write negative comments on a positive feedback as it will just disappear.

You can still leave feedback (negative after 7 days) if cancelled but you need to go to the all feedback page as the option is removed from the order page.

On eBay, can you leave negative feedback even if the seller cancels order, and refunds?

As I've never had to deal with this before.
    W_Cooper's avatar
I believe you have to wait 7 days to provide negative feedback otherwise it appears as positive. I've reported them on ebay via ebay.co.uk/hel…022 and left a review on trust pilot so far.
  32. Newbold's avatar
Someone posted this advice on how to leave feedback on cancelled items - I have no idea whether it works.

"Go to the eBay webpage and log in. If you're on mobile then change your page layout to desktop. Go to the trespass eBay store, then to their feedback section. Scroll to the bottom of the page and there will be a leave feedback button, which shows all your eBay orders and not just Trespass ones. Morning guys, order got cancelled today but just been looking to find the link to make a case but can't find it, too many comments can someone kindly send it me please as I'm struggling to find it online too! Thank you
  35. F1clio's avatar
I for one will be leaving positive seller feedback on Ebay regardless of the outcome and I think everyone else should be doing the same, I purchased fully in the knowledge that it was a pricing error as has everyone else on here, there is no legitimate negative comment you can leave, even if we have to wait 2 weeks for a refund it is to be expected with the 1000s of orders they will need to go through, if you didnt have the money to spare then don't invest your money into something we all knew was unlikely to pay off

all those who saying will leave a bad feedback if it turn out to be a pricing mistake, are really no different than those looting.. I did ordered bcz was not 100% sure if is a genuine mistake or no with many items are in normal prices too.
if is a mistake., then am happy to accept a cancelation.
to leave a bad review is really an utter greed.
    Jamie8182's avatar
If they cancelled all the orders today I wouldn't bother leaving bad feedback as its not worth my time, if it gets to Monday afternoon and I've still heard nothing but they then cancel the order after that il drop them a few 1*s it could get worse however the longer they hold onto my money.... Isn't that fair?
  39. lennypigdog's avatar
I phoned them today and threatened them with bad feedback if they didn't send my tent out pronto. Bloke was so perturbed he drove it down to me straightaway from Glasgow Head Office. Just arrived, and he's putting the tent up in my garden as we speak in the dark! Now that's what I call service!

I find it abhorrent that you all are taking advantage of this obvious mishap.

Just called up Trespass and they said the IT department are looking into it. They were extremely grateful I informed them and said for that they would honour my order of 15 gazebos and 27 rucksacks...
