Bought this for £255 a month ago and thought it was a bargain. Love the guitar and how it sounds. Just noticed the price came down to £195 incl. VAT and shipping and thought I'd share. A very affordable Gibson Les Paul copy of a decent quality. For some reason it's just this colour that has been reduced. The BCF version (red) is £279.

They are nice guitars.  Just watched an interview with Andy Partridge - main songwriter for XTC - he was going through some of his riffs on a Harley Benton so that's quite an endorsement!

They do have a good rep .....I recently got an artist 59 LP for a little bit less than this ..just to try and see how I got on with an LP.... cracking guitar ...totally changed my opinion on (some) lower budget guitars (edited)

Two Harley Benton deals in a day? What's happening. I love a bit of Harley Benton, crazy value, massive range of guitars.

Also whilst I am here for those who like the modern metal headless style guitars (Harley Benton did do those with their Dullahan range) then GOC Guitars from China are awesome >

Here is a Harley Benton Dullahan review >

Shame they stopped making that range of guitars

They're releasing a new Dullahan early next year! They showcased the new prototype at the Guitar Summit this weekend. Few pics in their Instagram stories yesterday.

I have one of these (older version from a few years ago). Terrific guitar (and absolutely beautiful to look at), and didn't require any mods/upgrades. It holds its own alongside a Fender Strat, Fender Tele and Epiphone Dot

Fantastic value for money and play as well as a top row model at 2-3x the price. Love my cherry topped SC-550.

Just insane they offer stainless steel frets at this price point.

This is a whole lotta guitar for the money. Excellent find.

Fantastic price for a well liked guitar.

I own a couple of HBs. My Tele is great, it's become my main guitar. That said I did have to adjust the neck and polish the frets a bit to get to that point. I also bought their hollow PRS rip off. Its decent enough but I'm going to replace the tuners on it. Again, the frets are very scratchy.

That's how most of the HB reviews I've seen go. They're great, you just have to do this and this and this... I get it, but I also don't get it.

A veneer is not a top. Good price though for what it is. Pickups are better than Roswell which usually come with HBs.

Great price but the chambered body tones will not be for everyone. Not a typical focused tone as you would expect from a Les Paul style guitar.
