Do you actually need a left side wing mirror for the MOT?
My partner's car has had a cracked glass in the left mirror for years but always passes the mot. (edited)

2011 model? Probably obtain more-relevant results searching for door mirror rather than wing mirror.

Door card has to come off and you have to fish the plug out (tie a string around the old plug before you remove it then tie it to the new one and pull it back) , also be sure to get a like for like mirror, some have power fold, puddle lights etc.

Short answer is yes you need a 3 mirrors on your car to pass an MOT
    From motester.co.uk/mot…rs/
    6/2/23
M1 vehicles (cars) first used on or after 26 Jan 2010 will need to have 3 mirrors – one fitted to the vehicle offside and nearside plus the interior mirror – unless the interior mirror cannot give a view to the rear, for example if a bulkhead is fitted.

Check if this will fit your car ebay.co.uk/itm…757 (edited)

That would make sense as my partner's car is an older model pre 2010.

The online scrapyards have changed, nowadays you can put your number plate in and search for compatible parts. I had luck finding correct colour of mirror for a Hyundai but there was still a difference, the replacement had non removable bolts fitted that were far too long. After sawing 3 bolts off to the right length got it fitted. To my amazement even the demister heater in it worked.

The OP's car is black but I think a pink one would look cool.
