Is there a reasonably priced printer that no one complains about?

I'm looking for wireless all in one printer scanner. Every deal that gets posted has at least someone complaining about the price of ink replacements, is there a single manufacturer/devic out there that the general consensus for this isn't true?

Makes it really hard to decide what to go for or do I just bite the bullet?

Any recommendations out there?

I've heard good things from the Brother brand. Even my dad swears they are god send.

Random review I bookmarked a few months back when I was in the market for a new printer because it was so funny but also highly recommending >> Brother HL-L2370DN [Super mono laser printer, for those slightly strange people who want exactly that at home] Sadly, I didn't purchase this model, just thought I share it with you.

Whatever choice you decide to go with, remember STAY AWAY FROM HP.

I've had a Ricoh laser that's been perfect over the years, can't vouch for their all in ones but I'd have no hesitation buying again.

After being fed up with an HP printer that the ink kept drying up on I went with a Brother laser printer as they always seemed to have good feedback on them. I've had it just over a year and it's been fantastic as it prints perfectly every time no matter how long it's been since it was last used.

I think the issue with printers is that a 'reasonable price' is more than most models sell for so there's a lot of effort put into making money through ink costs.

If you look at the more expensive models in the range you'll find manufacturer ink costs are much, much closer to third party ones.

The trouble is they also tend to be big cartridges which is not ideal unless you're printing regularly. How many pages do you do a month?

Not much at all. Couple of pages a week, if that?

What im really looking for is wireless reliability, my current Canon can only be found 20% of the time when I go to print. So I have to resort to USB which is inconvenient.

If you need more than just a black and white printer as above, then I heard that the ones with ink tanks are the ones to go for.

Such as this Epson EcoTank: ebay.co.uk/itm…259

I've switched to Epson and pay £1.99 a month for my ink but I don't print much
