Help to find the cheapest official Google cable please

Could anyone send me to a site please or let me know if theyve had to recently buy an official Google cable.
I need a usb Type A to usb - Type C.

The reason it has to be an official one is so I can use it with android auto in my car. I must have bought 2 or 3 now and they're not compatible but I expect that's because I'm buying cheap.....but the official ones are £15.

Google USB-C to USB-A 1M Charging/Transfer Cable amazon.co.uk/dp/…-GB

If that's what I have to pay then fine...I'll bite the bullet but not before asking the hduk community first. Thanks 🙏 everyone.

It doesn't necessarily have to be official Google, just decent quality.

It's a similar story with iPhone and CarPlay for me. The cheap cables don't work. But I can get more than just genuine Apple cables. I use cables made by UGreen and Anker with CarPlay just fine.

With this in mind, it may be worth expanding your search to other brands that offer decent quality cables. Whether that's third parties like Anker above, or even other manufacturers like Samsung for example. I would expect all of these to work fine for Android Auto too.

I didn't know that. Thank you. The only thing is you don't know until you get it whether it will work or not.

I do know that the Google cables will work so that's why I stipulated that. Do you know why some work and cheap don't. It would be nice to know what I'm actually looking for. Thanks for replying in any case.
