    I got one of the first slots. We wait for the winter sale as its usually got more stock and well it was a complete let down. Its not even half price for the majority of the goods. Brands are just 20/30% off and well no where near the stock

    If you dont manage to nab the early VIP slots you're pretty much SOL! It's a shame really but its the way the cookie crumbles.

    I had a 8pm slot on Thursday and most of the good items had gone out of stock by 4pm ... having said that I still spent £300 on what was left in stock.

    Definitely feel like the sales are getting worse. I never got a an alert to pick a slot. I had to ring CS to get it sorted and by then the normal 2pm first slot had long gone. Not much to chose from and plenty of stock that still sits from the previous sale.

    Offer of Slots are not an automatic entitlement for every account holder. Eligibility depends on how much you've ordered, how much you've kept, payment history and when you last ordered. If I am not lucky enough to get one, I just assumed it was because I hadn't met the criteria. I haven't rang CS to ask for one.

    I had 2pm slot and spent £600 in 20 minutes whoosh lots of bargains . Most Xmas presents for next year ie Nike trainers, Laura Ashley bedding sets. Soy candles . For once was happy with vip slot

    I bought sofas in the last sale, when they came they came in huge boxes with each sofa in 2 piece. So 2 huge boxes for each sofa. They couldn't get the boxes in so just left them outside and then we had to take them out of boxes and take them in ourself and then when we finally got the last piece inside we realised that for one of the sofas they sent 2 left sides. We had to repack them and keep them outside in the rain for them to come back to collect it a week later. It was so stressful.

    There was VIP slot I managed to get a 2pm Thursday slot got all the stuff I wanted. Most of our boys stuff is from Next I've always found it good quality and washes well (edited)

    This time of year the store b ti gs our items that you never seen before . They actually manufacture items specially for the sale .

    Is that legal? Given the whole " item must have been at a higher price before sale price". The other annoying thing is that many items are not actu" in stock" but " awaiting stock from supplier" and then they get cancelled.

    Had VIP for 2pm on Thursday which I believe was first slot. Had about a dozen things written down, all OOS. A lot of stock wasnt even half price and a lot of items have been on the site for a year or more. (Much prefer older shopping system where you could view a page, select as many items as you want, then add to bag so all would go at once, rather than one at a time. ) Was very disappointed with this sale, usually only get homeward now. Kids are upper teens now so don't really wear next ( won't wear anything that goes from age 4 - 16 yrs. Quality is nowhere near what it was and sizes ard ridiculous. Women's ard at least 2 sizes bigger than than the label. They seem to have followed primark down the " flattering sizes" route.
