Any printer with cheap inks?

Is there any printer that is not too expensive and the inks don't cost a lot, I just need it for printing. I used to have a cannon printer for which there is 20 inks from eBay for £20 but it stopped working after some years but that one is no longer sold I think as I couldn't find it. I bought a hp printer but the inks are too expensive.

Edit: just need it for adhoc printing every now and then

Somebody wrote this elsewhere might be worth looking at xp2205.

The Epson XP2205 I have allows cartridge chip bypass via Epson's own software and a set of refillable cartridges for the Epson 604-based printers costs 10 USD. Not only does it allow the same benefits as an eco tank printer but at a lower price point. Any printer sold in the EU has to have the option of disabling the cartridge vendor lock-in so this is possible with pretty much any recent consumer inkjet printer.
Other option is this mono laser printer from brother

If you can find one locally on ebay or facebook marketplace a Canon MG5750 (or MG5751 in white)

5 different inks (inc photo black) and the ink doesn't dry up too quickly ...inks about £1 or less on ebay

Used to be about £60 new but now people are asking up to £150 on ebay...

Most cheap printers now are all 3 colour combined cartridges ....1 runs out and you have to waste whats left. Not exactly planet friendly....

If your not into printing in colour or only use it every now and again why not look at laser printers?

I picked up a Brother from Argos on sale, they give an eco ink trial for 4 months but I'm just gonna buy the toner once it's ran out cba with subscription. About £50 for like 1200 pages. And toner doesn't dry out like inkjets

Didn't bother with scanner either as can "scan" on phone and print direct. (edited)

If that’s your criteria then avoid over priced inkjets and get a mono laser, imo
