Smart thermostat for a Worcester Greenstar

I’m looking to buy a smart Thermostat.

Hive is currently £129 Amazon, it has been cheaper there only once I can find.

Should I go for Hive or look at other options?
Eg Tado and Nest

I already use the Tado app for smart plugs.

I have also had experience with nest too with a CCTV cam but actually found it problematic. Wouldn’t rule it out though.

Any advice on the best system?

I’ve got a Worcester green star compact and connected it with a nest only problem with it is sometimes it disconnects from WiFi but apart from that top notch

I got a Nest Thermostat E ... very happy with it. Main thing I like is the geofencing. I leave the house, heating is turned off to 5 degrees frost protection. When I come home, it preheats the house. I can also schedule different heating settings for overnight, a bit colder and warmer during the day.
No issues with it. Bought it from cex a couple of years ago for £80

We've had a hive for about 5 years. Works really well.
The geo location is great when you're out. It has a boost so that you can just put it on for a limited time too.
In fact I expanded it over the years using the hub and have smart TRV on radiators in the bedrooms too.
Also a lot of the lights are connected to the hub.
It all connects seamlessly with Alexa and google home too.
Obviously not the cheapest but I've found it reliable and certainly very much reduced our energy use when we first got it. (edited)

Same here, easy to control the temperature with Alexa or with the phone app and set up routines if required. I also use the hub/Alexa to control Hive lights. 7

Only had experience with Wiser system from Drayton/Schneider and that's been faultless. Added TRV's to it a few months ago and so far, so good.
