    Own both of these and will be upgrading to the 4K of the first one when it's released. They're both excellent movies.

    The 4k of the first has already been released. Unfortunately it's US only and it's £50 to import it

    Generally considered to be two of the best action films of the last fifteen years, with the Raid 2 being up there with the best action films of all time. The films are Indonesian, though don't let that put you off. I always watch the films with subtitles. At this price, well worth buy.

    Fantastic films and really worth watching the additional features showing how they achieved such cool effects on a shoestring budget.

    That false wall scene in the first film always reminds me of Only Fools and Horses upstairs at the Nags Head hiding behind the curtain from the Driscoll brothers.

    The picture quality of The Raid is not great- I thought it might be the transfer, but I think we're stuck with it as I seem to remember reading it's to do with the quality of the digital film cameras that were used. Still a fantastic action film!

    Call me soft, but I found the Raid 2 nastier to watch: seeing people slash each other to ribbons with knives is just not as much fun as watching them battering each other with fists and feet I find...

    There is brand new 4k remaster with new color grading by its director Garreth Edwards. Im not sure if its on apple tv uk yet, but its available on digital and physical in US forum.blu-ray.com/sho…=16
