We have one and it's brilliant. Genuinely surprised how well the colours are for this sceen. Used for PS5 and Xbox One. The built in speakers are actually decent but not extraordinary but work! Highly recommended!

What's the power output on the adapter?

Can you get these for a similar price at 4K 60hz? I'd use it for slower, casual games such as Monkey Island & maybe Anno so would value the better resolution over a fast refresh rate.
    reubengreening's avatar
At 15 inch it's not worth it

Its a good price, but I'd caution any potential buyer to read reviews on the same website. Some users report faults occurring within a couple of weeks.

Also, bare in mind this may incur further custom charges of unknown amount.

The price you pay is the final price. All fees etc will be included

    Tried this. Hated it.

It only provides 50% brightness if using just one cable which is fine, but it defaults to just 4% brightness (or something similarly awful) and you have to go through a fiddly counterintuitive menu to turn it up every single time you plug it in.
    I sent it straight back.

Cheap way of replacing a screen on a dead laptop. Just stick it over the top (edited)

Do you know what's better, Blu Tak, double-sided sticky tape, or Super Glue? I'm comfortable with all 3, but my wife thinks I've got an obsession, so I'm not allowed to use them anymore in the house

code CHOICEDAY3 takes it to 71.99

But with the code in this deal the price is £68.59

Anyone else notice the power plug doesn’t look like uk? (edited)
    dani121's avatar
    It's a EU 2 pin plug.

I bought the Arzopa one from Amazon. They’re probably all the same. Absolute game changer when I’m working remotely and need additional screen. Not used it for gaming.
    BootLoop's avatar
Yeah they’re nice. I popped some command strips on mine so I can just slap it on the wall above my desk too. I’m definitely in the market for bigger and better now, and more command strips

Thinking about getting something like this for an extra monitor working from home...

Anything really cheap that would work well? Just gonna have spreadsheets and team calls on it (edited)

You can also try this - spacedesk.net/ (free)
I have a cheaper portable monitor for work and I would defo recommend having one for you. Much better to work with 2 monitors especially when you need to compare stuff

Will it turn up looking like it's been delivered in the jaws of a t-rex

Does this need to be plugged in at the mains or will a single usbc to usb c be fine
    ashyt16turbo's avatar
Would have thought USB C be fine as that is what it ships with.
Can't really call it portable otherwise. (edited)

Yeah, that shows for me despite being logged in. Sold out?

Anyone tempted to get this for 120hz console gaming, think on - this won't have VRR and so you're going to get awful judder since practically no games lock to 120fps on any of the current consoles.
  18. mrcaptain's avatar
    £67.06 for me
  19. fukuzawa's avatar
71.50 for me, but my first purchase at AliE, so hotuk code does not seem to work, that normal?
  20. BigStart's avatar
Can I connect this to a pixel 8 pro ?
    shappinbegs's avatar
No. Pixel phones haven't supported connecting an external displays in forever (although android supports it)
  21. nahkmiyan's avatar
    Mini hdmi?
  22. mart321's avatar
Will this plug into a phone and let me stream netflix using only usb? (edited)
    Smm0's avatar
I think so.. but only if your phone supports that function.
  23. LOH1153's avatar
How would you connect to a Xbox? I'd have to get a converter from hdmi to mini hdmi?
    sisqoboy's avatar
    Author
I might be wrong but I think it comes with that cable by default. Mine is a different maker but has mini HDMI and I got the cable for that. Would be weird selling a monitor without that as 99.99% is HDMI on the other side.
    Edit:
Yeah it only comes with type C cables. Shame. (edited)
  24. Forreslad's avatar
This would work well with a Steam Deck?
    jazferbetay's avatar
    Yes with a dock

    dani121's avatar
    Still working.

These any good for Series S consoles?
    nahkmiyan's avatar
Yes just get a mini hdmi to hdmi cable
  27. mrcaptain's avatar
Anyone just getting a "no display" message? Tried pc, laptop and ps5.
    nahkmiyan's avatar
    Try scart lead
  28. scapton's avatar
Mine has arrived. Lovely panel but mine has a screen fault.

The screen flickers whenever there is an active 1080p or 720p signal. I have tried it using the PS5/Steam Deck/Nintendo Switch/Laptop/Ambernic RG35XX and the display issue is present on every device I have tried on the screen.

Has anyone else who purchased this experienced a similar issue? It's a real shame as this looks like a fantastic bit of kit for the money.
    mrcaptain's avatar
Mine wouldn't connect to anything except my PS5 and it flickers a wee bit. I contacted Aliexpress and they refunded me and I got to keep the screen. It's a bit useless though.
