Some good deals on the spreader clamps too. E.g 18” for £13.85 instead of £22

    £15.39? (edited)

Was about to order as spares, but realised this is only for single clamps, usually come in pairs. This extinguished my heat. (edited)

Only realised now that I've picked mine up...they'd put it inside the Dewalt toolbox I'd also bought so drove home before I noticed

Why did the clamp go to therapy? Because it always felt under pressure!

For those struggling to get the code to work if you go into your phone app settings & clear the cache/cookies for the Screwfix app it should then work when you re open the app

For anyone who does own or buy these clamps, consider these adaptors for makita pattern tracks:

    ebay.co.uk/itm…717

The F clamps will set you back £20 - £30 for a pair wheras you can have 4 adaptors for £9

Plenty of decent and robust pairs of no-name all metal clamps for Makita track for £14 delivered (paid even less for mine a couple of years ago). Nine quid for some rough 3d prints that have to be screwed on and off seems too much faff. I hardly ever use the clamps with my track but when I do, I only ever use two anyway.

Thanks OP. I had the same problem of the code not working and could not find the dotted line to turn the notifications on.
So I rang customer services and the solution was to go to Google play store and update to the new app. You can then turn notifications on.

You will then be shown a one off code to copy for 10% off, for using the new app.

After buying any order with this code, you should be able to get the 10% off orders for rest of Feb. (edited)

Mine gave me the code "APPBOOST10" and my own specific code, but only after I gave the permissions it asked for on the main page of the app

Them clamps are really bad. Out of 6 only 1 lasted past the first 4 hours.

Highly rated by user reviews on Screwfix which are usually accurate

I ordered but realised I misread the description and thought it was for a pair of clamps

What does 63kg/m² mean in this context?
    heman's avatar
I suspect as this is the pressure exerted, or clamping force as a measure of the surface area of between the clamps.

I can't get the code to work, I cleared the cache in the app but still no luck

Code does not work for me either, BOOST10 nor APPBOOST
"Sorry, we are unable to apply code (APPBOOST10) as it is either incorrect, out of date, or the order value is lower than the voucher value. Please check your voucher details and re-enter ensuring the order value is higher than the voucher value. "

did you use the app? the code doesn't work on the web site, only in the app

Never had the app before and just downloaded so cache suggestions no good. Code doesn’t work for me.

Nice one, got a pair of the 12" ones for £10.69. Okay for home use, don't know if they'd last long at work.

I had to sign out and back into the app after clearing the cache and storage. It then gave me a personal code of random characters rather than BOOST10 which didn't work. The personal code is now working fine though.

It seems like the app gets confused if you had notifications disabled, then you enable them, for checking code eligibility.

A bit of a faff but not too bad. Worth it for 10% off. Thanks op
