Do these do the equivalent of a lint roller? The pictures look extreme lint conditions
    fraseross's avatar
No, these shave the bobbly bits of clothes

    116,000 reviews!
    timb2010's avatar
But these seem to be shared with about 6 other Philips products from the store .. if you choose the blender, it's still 116,000 reviews 🤷🏼‍♂️

The cheaper Chinese rechargeable clones are just tech e-waste, the rechargeable battery will lose it holding capacity very quickly or will 'swell' up stating its a cheap/useless battery which means you'll have to throw the thing away.

Good idea to buy something where you can change the batteries easily (I'd assume most on here have rechargables batteries so a non-issue)

    !00% agree with this!

    False economy buying cheap.

Would rather prefer the usb chargeable ones.

    Personal preference really. (edited)
    Lupus1462's avatar
Rather have genuine Philips the batteries last for ages anyway.its not an everyday item so when come to use rechargeable battery will have decharged, un these situations battery better. Unless you de-bobble daily.

If you only get occasional bobbling, try a razor instead of buying one of these. I use whichever one is due next for the bin. Works pretty well. (edited)
    ciderno1's avatar
Yes been doing this ,works wonders

Literally added this to my basket yesterday. Was just waiting to add a couple more things to get over £25 for free delivery. Thank you!!
    Daveee's avatar
Pickup from nearby Amazon hubs would be free. There is no need for order over £25

what item clothing do people use these on? I've gone my entire life and never needed one
    bumbletea's avatar
Wool, especially cashmere. Even cotton hoodies sometimes need it.

If you're really tight you can use a razor blade

Bought mine last year for £15.99 so you're not alone. It has been really useful though so I am not complaining
  15. steveking198's avatar
Has anyone ever tried this on a carpet? I have 2 cats that love to hitch my carpet so think this may come in useful for that!
    steveking198's avatar

This is £5 from Amazon seller.
Would it be safe to buy, and return from other sellers? 52170083-ZpK5M.jpg
    slawziom's avatar
Never had a problem with returns. Same rules apply.

Got delivered. Works well. Don't hesitate. Buy
  22. AaDI's avatar
Just bought! Now looking for cheap cloths which will bobble
  23. friar_chris's avatar
Philips? Loads of these clones on eBay and Amazon. Deals with replacement blades looks a better prospect. AA batteries too given occasional use.
    TheBigLwinski's avatar
Yeah, the clones aren’t often great. Spend a few quid more to get a 5* product rather than a 3* one that may or may not work properly
  24. amit.sethi's avatar
Get a rechargeable one from Temu for a couple of quids!
    Smortimer's avatar
Please don't waste your money on products from Temu. It's practically slave labour.
  25. Gztsby's avatar
I wonder if this would be good or bad for a mousepad
    SJ_16's avatar
Probably end up cutting your wrists on it so I’d say bad
  26. niknak's avatar
Ah, Remington Fuzzaway... Showing my age!
  27. dfunked's avatar
I only use my one of these once in a blue moon, but they're so bloody handy when you do.
  28. Lefty's avatar
Mine arrived today and it’s pretty good! I’m now addicted to de-bobbling every item of clothing in the house!
    Granite123's avatar
    Same

  31. Another_Butterfly's avatar
Been looking for a decent one of these for a bit. Ordered a no name brand and wasn't very good so hoping this one will be better 🤞🏻
  32. sharq's avatar
I have one. They are decent and I would recommend. Granted I don't use it much but it does the job when I do.
I got mine for the same price from Lidl irc.
  33. fukd's avatar
Much better to get a rechargeable one.
    ciderno1's avatar
Most folk on here would disagree 😏
  34. Be79n's avatar
These work great, and be been buying designer jumpers off vintage and using this to make them look like new.
  35. D.Crockett's avatar
This is a great device, I wear fine knit merino and cashmere jumpers over my shirts at work in the winter and they obviously bobble over time, this has kept them looking new for a number of years and saves me having to go buy more from Uniqlo each year. It's a no brainer if you have knitwear you wear regularly. (edited)
    iGlad's avatar
Uniglo jumpers seem to bobble after one wear.
  36. jasper132's avatar
Just received this and it's amazing. Means I can make my 15 year old jumper last at least another ten 😜
    Nicolas's avatar
    Can u please help
I received mine and it’s not amazing
    How do u use it
I go over the flint 19 times only for it to pick up half the flint
