The Cave Outdoor Wireless IP Camera is designed as an accessory to use with a Cave Smart Hub.
Does that mean you need to buy Cave smart hub for it to work? I could not even see listed for sale on MyMemory site for sale.

Edit: later post in this thread indicates an (unidentified) power supply is included in retail box.
Seems manu forgot to mention this critically useful snippet in box packing list.

    Caution.
No mention of the required power supply (DC 12V/1A via unstated connector).
Manufacturer data sheet states "what's in the box" as total three items:
1 x Cave HD Outdoor Wireless IP Camera
    1 x Fixing Kit
    Multi-lingual User Manual

OpMan phrasing also implies power supply is not supplied (sic) in the box:
Once installed and plugged into a compatible power source...

If a power supply is required at additional cost (£5+),
far better value on multiple levels would be obtained via the 2k resolution Codnida pan+tilt at about £25 fulfilled Amazon - complete with ongoing rolling free event cloud storage, spotlight, colour nightvision, ONVIF compatible, CloudEdge app for ease of adding other branded cameras to same controlling app, etc.

It arrived. Does have a power supply included. Finding the app clunky and no green setup light showing on the camera to initiate the install. Can see it under it's own wifi hotspot so I'm exploring other options to connect to it. Anyone else had any success?

Can’t get the app far enough along the setup to see the camera. Have got a work around if anyone else has problems. Download CamEye3 (as suggested by Cave Support). Then take the small cover off the camera and next to the memory card slot is the WiFi button. Put a memory card in, power on the camera, wait about 10 seconds for the chimes to stop and press the WiFi button for three seconds. Go to the WiFi settings on your phone and you should see a new WiFi signal from the camera. Click on that and the password is 01234567 (the password in the camera manual doesn’t work). Once your phone is attached to the camera WiFi then load up CamEye3, click the plus sign to add a device and let it search the network. When it finds your camera change the WiFi (of the camera settings in CamEye3) to your house WiFi and password. The camera will turn off its hotspot and join your house WiFi. If your phone doesn’t do the same automatically then go back to your phone’s setting and join your normal house WiFi. CamEye3 should then connect to the camera. Click on the icon to see the camera output. Use settings icon to change admin password/time settings etc. I’m still playing with it but looks an ok app (yet another app :-) ) (edited)

Wireless lol... Except for the wire needed for power... Such a load of bull .. should be banned from making wireless claims when power supply needed !

Alternative supplier with no stock has description that includes the phrase:
Requires mains power supply (DC 12V/1A)

OK, following my communications with My Memory CS I can advise the following.....

The cameras will apparently work independent of any hub simply using the App & wifi, if you have the hub they will link to it

There are power supplies included in the box for the cameras

I have ordered to check this & to keep as backup camera to replace one of my now ageing wifi cameras that is starting to have connection issues (edited)

Supports ONVIF so should potentially work with other IP camera systems. Alas I need one with an ethernet port - most cams usually have these also but can see no mention of this here so this looks like a no go for me.

I've always found with WiFi cameras that it's easier to set up / connect via Lan and setting up the wireless then install / place camera where you want it.
