    No new exclusives of existing franchises until 04/25 announcement. Sony have said that sales will naturally start tailing off now a bit due to the amount already 'in hands' the availability being ok. Then in 24-36 months it will be classed as winding down so i expect sone decent PS5 deals in the coming months, (edited)

    It's not what Sony said. They said dont expect any new major games of existing franchises in this financial year, so up until April 2025. So no God of War, Spider-Man, etc. Doesn't mean they won't launch a brand new IP. (edited)

    It is unlikely to drop significantly any time soon. Supposedly Sony is struggling to make any profit from the console sales as the component costs haven't significantly dropped, so the cost to manufacture hasn't really altered, when normally Sony would be making serious profit at this point in a consoles' lifecycle.

    Likely just to be coincidental timing, but Microsoft's Xbox's announcement is tonight. Could well be price cuts announced in that, given the mess Xbox is in and the temporary price cuts they did before Christmas.

    Always go disc. The disc version also allows you to play your PS4 disc games.

    Tried to do a price match through currys and they told me they couldn't because the sony website is a security risk. And they can only match with legitimate websites.

    Tried price matching with Currys three times now, the first said they couldnt because its not a website registered in the UK.

    The 2nd said it didnt look like a legitimate website so was unwilling to match.

    And the 3rd is just pretending the link doesnt work now.

    Well, this is annoying. I just used the 15% off PS Plus deal last night. I know this is a few quid more expensive, but as this deal is for everyone, other retailers are likely to price match and I'd rather buy from them than directly via PlayStation. Guess I'll cancel my order then...

    For those who are waiting for further discounts. It's very unlikely.

    Sony recently said it's very difficult to get the price down further, I think this the best your gonna get.
