Do you have a source for the incorrect "cheapest it's ever been" assertion?

(Tesco cleared them out at half price when they stopped selling consoles so it's definitely been cheaper)

It's just heat chasing - usual fare

Can't get it to work. Base price is showing £309 even when you add to basket & then click on link. Am I doing something wrong?

It's gone up. It was £279.xx. After the discount, it was the deal price but now it's £279.xx after the discount.
    It's expired, unfortunately.

to anyone on the fence - i upgraded this week to the Zelda OLED and it feels absolutely incredible. screen is amazing, better viewing angles and much more vivid colours. battery life is better so far than my V1. metal casing and glass screen makes it so much more premium. it’s like if the original switch was designed by Apple.

unless you play TV mode the majority of the time, i’d say it’s worth the cash. and considering how much Switch 2 has been internally delayed i’d say there’s never been a better time. plus it’s reportedly coming with an LCD

I personally wouldn’t call the screen “amazing” since it’s a 720p screen and some games would massively benefit from a 1080p resolution. It’s definitely lacking in the hardware department. (To get 1080p you need to play via the TV).

But a respectable quality upgrade over the standard Switch/ Switch Lite nonetheless with more vivid colours , deep blacks and less fogginess. (edited)

Has base price gone up? Looks like 309 to me.

When is the switch 2 expected to be released?

No one knows for sure, but next March would be 8 years since the Switch was released, so possibly then.

Sounds like Nintendo have delayed its launch from late 2024.
