    Only the coated palm side the top is cloth so gets soaked.

    These are 99p in home bargains, and about a month back they had purple ones at 79p in their gardening section.

    Sounds like a joke but the purple ones with flowers on from HB are actually great. I use them if DIY or car fix is needed.

    From experience - maybe not. You'd be surprised with thin gloves and also remember the back will let the little so and so's sting you no problemo at all..
