Maneater is good fun, never worth the ~£40 it launched at but a great addition to Gamepass (I 100%'d it last time it was on Gamepass).

I've got another 18 months GamePass, however I now have a steam deck which I do most of my gaming on and it annoys me that I can't use GP on there. I /could/ dual boot windows but I don't think I'll bother it just seems a faff.

GP is really great for exploring games that you wouldn't otherwise fork out cash for.

    Total trollop....again. got a series x but glad I've just got a ps5 🙌 (edited)

You didn’t need gamepass, just a decent hedge.

Really solid line up. Tales of Arise is amazing. Been wanting to play Boltgun for a while and Maneater is a great bit of fun.

    Is that right ?
Just some of the games coming to Gamepass day One this year...
    Microsoft First Party exclusives.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
    Hellblade 2.
    Avowed.
    Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
    Ara: History Untold.

And 3rd party day one games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl etc.

Anyone who subs to Gamepass is getting amazing value this year, especially compared to a rival console that hasn't even got any AAA First Party games coming out for it this year let alone get them at no extra cost through the subscription. (edited)

Glad I've let my sub expire.

No GTA 6? Terrible service, I'm cancelling!!!!
    Lestat69's avatar
I have heard this will only be available on PS6 and spilt into 10 parts at £70 a part and you will only be able to play for 2 hrs per day but you can pay for extra hour of play at £1.50 per hour.

May be also remade twice within first year - it’s what PS owners want! (edited)

I've dumped Gamepass on Console and only keeping it on PC because of Flight Simulator
    Srelapse's avatar
In the long run wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy flight simulator?
  14. cryptomuzz's avatar
I recommend Warhammer 40K Boltgun, it is incredible fun!
  15. darkstryder360's avatar
Leading with Bluey instead of Boltgun is funny
  16. Funkyphil1971's avatar
Aside from the Resident Evil remastered releases Gamepass as of late has been truly awful!
  17. EN1GMA's avatar
I personally think its great value. Currently on my play list (games i am playing at the moment) are Brotato, P3R, Deaths Door, Forza Motorsport, Shredders revenge, RE2R and some Palworld.

because of GP, i can confidently say i would not have tried many of those games above. But GP allows me to try all these different genres and games and I do end up buying some of them. BG3, Cyberpunk etc will not be coming to GP anytime soon as the money required from MS to add to the service will be cost prohibitive. I mean i have BG3, Cyberpunk and AW2 bought but I havent even touched them yet.

for the cost of a years sub, i personally i get value out of it. But if their service does not have the games you want then its not vfm.
  18. sibeer's avatar
Well my 5 year old will be made up, she is also waiting for the newer Peppa Pig game if any MS staff are reading this
    Brad_Shaw's avatar
None of my business but can’t you just buy her the peppa pig game if she really wants it
  19. Holooky's avatar
    Excellent line up this month.

Excellent. Bluey will be a hit with my kids, and I was considering bolt gun and diablo anyway! Sweet!

Gamepass is worth it if your paying in Turkish Lira

    Boo Xbox gamepass stinks
Can I have my cool points now please
  24. philipmarkmurphy's avatar
I used to love Xbox as a platform. Im a big shooter fan and it seems to have lost its way. Feel like the games nowadays are like indie/Nintendo kiddie style games or RPGs. All of which I detest. It's been ages since I had a game pass. (edited)
    EN1GMA's avatar
im the opposite. I don't like shooters. me playing FPS game is like a very drunk guy trying to wee (lol).

but i think theres enough on there to satisfy most tastes.

Bluey! That's the 2 year old granddaughter happy when she visits - she's getting too good at gta for my liking
  27. jak22's avatar
Despite the upvotes there being 'good' games isnt enough for a service charging £155 a year. In the last year or so whats been better than just good, or won awards or in top ten lists? Starfield ? - OK but nothing more. Forza Motorsport? - poor on PC. Redfall? Buying better games like ex-PS games like God of War & Uncharted or AAA like Baldurs or Alan Wake can be cheaper than a sub - thankfully Rewards pays £12 a month. (edited)

Been plenty on there. Have you played all the yakuza games. Judgment, like a dragon series. Guess it depends what your into but I’ve had my moneys worth. There not particularly been a lot released by either 3 big companies lately. Game development time has massively increased this generation. Nintendo I suspect are holding back now ready for the switch 2 rumoured to come later this year. It there is some good games on there dead space also released this year. We will have Jedi fallen order within the next couples months I expect also.
  28. TekWoodyatt1's avatar
I do wonder what people are expecting - there aren’t even many new games. Ubisoft+ pretty much eliminates the need for games to be added to game pass, EA games are automatically added bc of EA Play… apart from those two, what other publishers have produced notable games as of late? Cyberpunk could be added, perhaps, but the cost of that game is less than one month of GPU so it’s not even worth it. I think they’re legally unable to add CoD to gamepass, also - unless I misread (by that I mean inadequately skimmed) the article.
    Rob_Jackson's avatar
Not new COD's, but they are looking to upload the back catalogue I think
  29. ChristopherDias's avatar
Bluey for my kid and wanted to play boltgun for a while ! Honestly, though, there is a big overlap of games on these subscriptions in the future. We will just have one subscription.
    Jabrunai's avatar
Don’t get your hopes up for Bluey. Even as a kid’s game it’s dire. My daughter played it for about 10 minutes and never touched it again and she loves Bluey and games.
  30. iwo's avatar
I remember "bluey" was what some people would call rudey movies when I was younger.
  31. BrafferZ's avatar
A bit weak month... unless you are a JRPG fan... they are eating good recently.
    Boltgun is good fun though.

Waiting for Diablo 4 but dont have high hopes. Will probably play the campaign and uninstall as i dont have time or patience to grind the ladder. (edited)
  32. ibblackberry1's avatar
Ive mostly been buying abroad recently rather than using gamepass. Robocop, subnautica, RDR2 all for around £20 total, maybe seems one of the ways to go, although still got 29 months of GPU i believe, so can't complain
  33. hairyarse's avatar
Got bored of maneater after a couple of hours. But might be worth another go?! But otherwise looks quite underwhelming

Already got Tales of Arise. Decent game. Nothing else there for me though.

Nothing for me this month but Diablo 4 28/3/24. Never even watched a trailer or yt video on it but I’ll definitely give it a try.
  37. lukenewnham's avatar
Don't know why but the image is missing one. Dead Island 2. It was just added
    BrafferZ's avatar
Dead Island 2 is xbox console only as PC version is exclusive on EPIC store until April 21.
