    Great price, Microsoft has at least 4 First Party exclusives coming this year including, Hellblade 2, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Avowed, Flight Sim 2024. (edited)

    With recent revelations of console exclusives coming to an end maybe a PS5 pro coming soon. Microsoft is probably trying to shift stock. (edited)

    It's only 4 games going multiple platform, all a few years old, and 2 of which are pretty small. But Microsoft is trying to shift stock, they seem desperate to sell the X.

    The Pro isn't likely till the end of the year if the rumours are true.

    It's a well known issue that the S consoles fade from white to black if exposed to the sun. I'm not sure how you explain the change in dimensions and the disc drive but sure you'll come up with something inventive!

    Thanks I've been thinking about picking one up second hand but people have been trying to get this sort of price for ones 2-3 years old. I've gone for this instead as it's a pretty good price for new

    I was racking up MS points ready for the fabled Series X Elite, which obviously isn't happening.

    The way things are going, I feel like next gen consoles will be digital only.

    So if MS did reduce it on their site, I'd be very tempted.

    This is all very Dreamcast esque. These will be cheaper soon given the news exclusives are no more on Xbox. Stories of PS5 devkits for Starfield and Halo studios.

    This makes sense since the 3rd party side of MS is so much more successful.

    Firstly, MS has said it's still committed to making Xboxes and there will still be exclusives on the Xbox. Secondly, Sony struggles to make much money from the hardware side of things as well. At least, MS has vast revenue streams coming in from elsewhere i.e. it's not likely to run out of funding any time soon. (edited)

    Great price! But the most boring and uninspiring Xbox console there has ever been. In fact I'd say the same thing with the PS5 also. They made a big ordeal about playing at 4K but PC gamers were already doing that for years if you had a high end GPU. (edited)

    Not sure about the theory of digital only consoles. I don't see MS or Sony doing that ever. There will be digital.omly versions, but to make all consoles digital only... It's too against the wishes of the general public.

    Did they ask you to return the box in order to get a replacement?
    2 days before Christmas, our Xbox Series X was delivered with a very badly damaged box. We ended up sending it away, and it took over a month to get a refund... I'm not sure if I want to buy something like Xbox in case I need to send it away and getting a refund...
