sorted byWoke up today, had a shower, tried it on again (single spray from the sample) and was much better. I sprayed around my throat area and the scent lingers for a long time. If I swipe the back of my hand against my throat, I can clearly smell the scent - it is a bit muted now after 3 hours, but it clearly is still there.
I was in two minds whether to keep or return it - On one hand it's pleasant, seems to be extremely "masculine", musky smell, and very rich, and I usually go for something more refreshing, delicate, elegant that has this "energising" tone.
Then my wife entered my office and asked me what is this unbelievable smell and that is simply superb. I guess I'm keeping it

You just need to learn how to apply them, ignore all these nutters on YouTube who tell you to spray over 10x. With this beast, I spray the front of my shirt once 10mins before I'm leaving, then one spray goes under my beard on neck and one on back of the neck. That lasts for 4-6 hrs and 3 of those hours it's projecting a good couple meters. If oversprayed it's too powerful to appreciate the notes. You cause everyone to go nose blind very quickly. It's a compliment monster if done right, your missus has good taste.

It is one of my clear favourites and smells so nice for a long time. I tend to give my jacket collars a couple of mists to keep the scent around for longer
