Magnesium spray is great for restless leg syndrome and all muscle based pain in my experience. I have RLS and cfs/fm and the only thing that really helps the pain is magnesium. Like someone said you can go to in other forms but you might as well use it topically rather than as a tablet as it avoids the stomach and it's quicker. Anyone interested in reading up about magnesium and it's multiple benefits to us should look up Dr Carolyn Dean who has pioneered the work in this area. Lots of her books and other resources are available free on our website. It really is the most undervalued and underrated mineral that the majority of us are deficient in.

Taken by mouth it is also excellent at removing anxiety symptoms. Again there are a plethora of different brands and types that you can buy but Dr Carolyn Dean explains the whys and where fors on her website (edited)

Thanks for the info. I’ve just downloaded a couple of her books from a free ebook site, and will give them a read. I’m already convince that magnesium deficiency has a negative impact on a person’s health, so it will be interesting to see what the author has to say.

Me too, but I bought some last week to test it out. I have sciatica (for almost three years now) and the main area of pain is in my thigh. Since I’ve tried all kinds of rubs to alleviate the pain, I was sceptical about this one. Even after a couple of days I noticed a huge improvement.

Is this good for arthritis in the knees?

Isn't this just magnesium salt and water?

yes but not all magnesium supplements are equal.
magnesium oxide is a waste of money, its difficult to get the body to absorb it!
incidentally h&b sometimes have a mag glycinate which is also useful.

I’m wondering how the one I bought some time ago compares?

I was recommended magnesium spray, by a patient for restless leg syndrome.
It worked really well for me.
Just don’t use it immediately after a hot shower or shaving your legs, otherwise it can really sting! (edited)

It shouldn't sting after a hot shower but it will sting if touching a cut area

In modern society where the soil isn't as fertile as what it used to be, plus sugars in diet. A large proportion of UK population are magnesium deficient. I take mag citrate which is better absorbed. I sleep better and calmer in self.. A sprays also good. If you are low on mag, the skin tends to tingle when absorbed through the skin. Another indicator. Everyone should try it.
