Bargain!!! Love the Simple range.

Deal title needs amending, it begins correctly explaining 2 for £4 then states £2. It might 'work out' at £2 each but the spend required is £4.

Re Aldi sunscreens - this article is from May 2017. ."..Which? put 14 bestselling sunscreens from Ambre Solaire and Nivea to supermarket own labels to the test and found Avon - which was the most expensive and smallest bottle - flopped on its SPF rating. ...But Aldi's bigger 200ml Lacura Suncare Spray SPF30 costing £2.79 passed with flying colours." (Wonder if it's this one - which is a 200ml SPF30 Spray - though it's £2.39? ). Creams are reckoned to give better coverage than Sprays, though. This mumsnet Aldi sunscreen discussion is from 2013 so likely out of date, but someone speculates that Beiersdorf - who own Nivea, Eucerin, etc, may make Aldi sunscreen - can't vouch for this, though. Re lotions: Lacura SPF15 Moisturising Sun Lotion 200ml £1.99 and its SPF30 equivalent at £1.99 are reviewed here (halfway down the page) "This has your typical sun lotion consistency but instead of just being an SPF this formula actually helps to hydrate the skin and is also water resistant. The green tea & vitamin E antioxidant-rich and help to soothe, protect against free radicals and nourish skin whilst the SPF30 helps to prevent skin from the damaging effects of the UVA & UVB rays. There is no getting away from that sticky feeling which comes from reapplying a lotion style sun lotion but this Lacura one has quite a lightweight fluid consistency which makes it easy to apply and leaves no white marks on your skin." Here's a May 2017 forum discussion about once-a-day sunscreens, P20 vs Aldi's Calypso. Generally they rate the Aldi option, but don't like its smell. Think Calypso is a clear gel, from what I've read. Just for fun, here's an article/review about the much-hyped Lacura Caviar skincare range - I found it a bit too heavy for my skin tbh, and I prefer bottles to jars, but lots of people must like it as it's been in Aldi a while!

I've used them in the past and thought they were pretty good. I didn't pay particular attention to the consistency but I don't remember it being greasy or difficult to rub in. The main thing for me is that this has a 5 star UVA rating - a lot of the more expensive brands only have 3 stars.

Wonder what the consistency of the suncreams is like , I need some factor 50 ones soon and £1.99 is a brilliant price as long as they rub in easily .

Yay! Just ordered a few things, thanks op:D

Agree :-)

I love Clarins but it wouldn't kill them to do free postage now and again when they have these offer like Clinique does. With Clarins it always seems to be free shipping with spends over £50 only unfortunately when they have these offers, and can never find any free delivery codes either.

Essential oils are extremely dangerous, harmful and dangerous to animals among other things just to point out. BBC News ran an article recently about how lavender oil can cause young boys to grow breasts. Essential oils are a big multi-level management scheme in the US at the moment and a lot of the risks aren't published. Not voting either way, but do research before using anything with 'essential oil' in it - RE the post about grapeseed oil on a child, I would stay well clear of that. You don't want to be using any essential oils anywhere near children or pets.

You should try grapeseed oil. It was recommended for baby massage for our son. It's great for moisturise and massage with.

thanks, good find. heard this on the radio the other day. when I went to check it out online just one spray was £15.99. worth a try as I don't sleep throughout the night.
