Amazon ring door bell

Wanted to know privacy laws surrounding Amazon ring door bells?
My neighbour had one in a block of flats and the door bell is aimed at my door. We are on the ground flat. I suspect anyone walking in and out of the flat through the ground concourse, the camera will active. Sometimes I just feel uneasy being recorded all the time

ICO states expectations and gives reasonable advice:

I'm wondering why you feel uneasy - genuinely interested. I would get it if it could record you inside your flat, but it's on you entering and exiting (assuming your clothed) and therefore nothing of interest. Is it any different to the millions of cameras that catch recordings of us as we move about our communities and streets?

I can kind of see why it would upset the OP, sure we all get recorded on cameras everyday as we move around but having a neighbours camera pointing directly at my front door recording everything 24\7 would likely creep me out a bit as well.

If the doors face each other there’s not a lot that the neighbour can do is there?
