Broadband and E&W calls

Hi
Looking at the cost of my broadband plus E&W calls.
Currently £35.50 pm.
With nowtv.
Ultra reliable and been very happy.
But I'm on 35Mbps and things have moved on.
I'd rather keep land line calls.
Looking at comparison sites, none seem to offer the E&W calls. Why is that ?
Plus the prices are not much less.
Seems to be around the 28 quid mark for same speed and no E&W calls.
What's going on....

Shell is about to change to the TalkTalk brand. Same broadband speed and calls is £31.59 a month.

Onestream (Vodafone) has even faster broadband at 55Mb and 250 Mins of anytime calls for £26.50, or 750 Anytime mins for £29 with unlimited anytime for £31.50

If you have your phone/SIM from Vodafone then their packages will be fairly competitive too.

If Virgin Media are in your street then you can get weekend (not evening) calls and much faster broadband would be possible for £29.99-£31.99 a month too.

Just a few examples. Lots more available if you look around. Comparison sites often won't show them anymore due to the way that calling plans are now sold.

Most people have mobile phone these days and don't want to pay extra for home phone.

E and W seems so antiquated these days.
haven’t used a land line at home in years.
vodafone broadband (50mbs average) and Vodafone sim (100Gb, unlimited calls and sms), BB £24, sim £10 but being Vodafone customer they gave £3 off broadband so £31 a month, 4% increase in April.

Unless there is a specific need for a landline (for example, tied to a home alarm, medical device, etc), I would just abandon it. I use my mobile phone for everything and don't even know my landline number.
