    I wanted to buy a wall shelf unit which is under 15kg but, as it's 190cm tall, it is still classed as large delivery

    Nothing wrong with chipboard furniture. IKEA shelving, for example, is extremely well priced and almost indestructible.

    This has existed for a while now. I've still not managed to do an order that fit the requirements though.
    Small package delivery costs (by size rather than weight, i.e. over 15kg) is very reasonable. Paid £2 for £65 worth of stuff to be delivered to my local co op. The Tesco pickup is also worth a look at.
