Great monitor at a great price. I managed to get this a few months ago at the same price on Amazon Warehouse. It's big but excellent -i prefer the very slight curve on this compared to the other UW monitors with a more aggressive curve. I wall mounted mine as the stand is big and quite intrusive as I had a small desk width.
Not many companies are doing 38in monitors now, so i'd get this while you can. Great price!

This would be the greatest monitor on the market IF…

It was OLED. Can’t believe there isn’t one in this size & resolution

Guessing 3 feet is too close for a monitor of this size?

Mine is an arms length away from me and is fine but I did have to mount it to the wall to maximise the distance as much as possible.

I am waiting for Alienware AW3225QF QD-OLED to drop in price. It is just £250 pounds more expensive than this but recently released. slightly smaller screen but overall better spec.

If i am lucky then I may get / stack Amex discount on DELL.

QD-OLED monitors are great for games and movies, but terrible for working with text.

Great monitors but don't think I'd go for something without USB-C Display-Alt on a monitor. It's just so useful when WFH. One cable to do power and display on the laptop. Good deal otherwise!
