Aldi do it on everything they sell!
How easily some people are conned.
Clever marketing to lock you in - like Prime. £95 a year to shop at Tesco - I think not! (edited)
Yes not a problem, had this subscription for nearly 18 months now and enjoy it with the fact I have a Tesco mobile too. Great to use when they offers on the booze too which makes it even cheaper
Tesco has actually started doing an Aldi price match on thousands of items
Great find for the 1 month free option
Best thing is to compare different products with different stores & instead of clubcard plus just have clubcard with tesco and loyalty cards with other stores too & save after comparing instead of sticking to one store
I reckon so as long as there's something there to scan your phone.
retailgazette.co.uk/blo…es/
You can do it online or in the tesco clubcard app
I do the same, if it's allowed to use it few times a year...why not it's always some saving. Like they say "every little helps" (edited)
Money isn't necessarily everything. Provable value is.
Ever wondered why things are cheaper? It might be because Tesco are greedy, but it also might be that Aldi/Lidl aren't as good a quality (or indeed as good for you).
Like when somewhere does unlimited breakfast for £3.95. You've gotta ask yourself "how?"
Another example is bread: there are various "grades" of bread on offer everywhere. They are not equal and chances are not equally as good for you.
I'm constantly debating this and I'll settle when I can get provable value.

cheers. i cancelled mine more than a year ago so I should be fine. will wait for the wine offer to come before doing this as i don't shop regularly at tesco. let's hope this offer is long lasting.
Thanks found information on their site just copied & pasted.
Or the companies concerned are better at sourcing items, running certain loss leaders, more effecient at organising resources, benefiting form economies of scale etc etc high price = good quality is not always the case, hence this website.
Thanks for pointing that out, I was about to sign up but as I get my shopping delivered, I won't bother. Cheers
That is the one difficulty that you can’t always get everything you need. Nothing wrong with your deal post, certainly not wishing to take away from that, it’s a good find especially if you can get a discount free for the month! I’m just stunned at the contempt Tesco marketing has for us, thinking we’re blind to their current approach.
Thanks for posting the deal, I’m not always triggered by Tesco
I agree good quality is not always the case. Ive had really poor quality from Tesco, so I choose what I buy and don't buy from there.
If I can get evidence of the decent balance of quality over cost, then I'll settle.
This website doesn't mean you're getting good quality though. I've had some clangers from this place.
I do value the ability to discuss, here though.
Oh, don't get me wrong, I haven't used tesco for a weekly shop for ages, and not on this, I just took out the club card plus trial to buy 5 bottles of the Adberg 10 when it was on offer last year...
I think they want you doing you're big family shops there, not loading up on whisky
Terms suggest it can, but could someone who has actually used it please confirm.
TIA.
Looks ok for England but not Scotland or Wales as usual based on the t&cs above.
You don’t get the 10% off on top of the 6 bottles of wine 25%off though.
Yes, I used it to buy 5 bottles of Ardbeg last year (then cancelled it)...
If you have Tescomobile you get double data
I was in Tesco on Thursday and many of their Aldi price match tickets were actually more expensive than Aldi on the same day.
Don’t trust Tesco as far as you can throw them.
The real reason the “Clubcard Prices” exists in the first place is so that those who don’t own one will be charged highly inflated prices, especially when so many people will be in a rush and don’t usually shop there.
Pretty much all of the alleged Clubcard deals are similar or cheaper in Lidl and Aldi anyway. Lidl Plus doesn’t cost anything and you’ll get regular discounts on top of the already decent prices.
Difference being is that you get Prime video, next day delivery and typically cheaper prices all round. Tesco’s current campaign is a complete con. (edited)
