sorted byMaintenance is not difficult once you get used to it, but you need to buy several chemicals and test strips.
Chlorine, clarifier, ph plus and minus are essential. You need to look after it every day if you want crystal clear water.
Also, you need at least a net with long telescopic handle to clear debris.
The filters are cheap, be careful to buy the correct size.
They can be washed every couple of days and last a couple of weeks.
I've still got the original pump and works fine, although a more powerful one would be better.
You need to run it for at least 8-10 hours/day.
I invested in an underwater hoover to suck up sand and heavier debris that settle on the bottom.
The problem with these pools is the inflatable ring.
After a couple of years the rubber becomes very thin, probably it deteriorates with sunshine, and you get micro punctures which are very difficult if not impossible to find.
That's why I have changed mine several times, for £20 or less you get a new one and be done with it.
Shame they don't make the inflatable ring with the same material of the rest of the pool which is very strong.
Did we even have a summer this year?
