I hesitate to post this holiday..it's Kavos!..but it might suit some? Perhaps the younger HUKDers.

Agnes Beach hotel

Includes 15KG hold luggage and transfers

Says it's a TUI 'Scene' hotel..which I assume just means that you won't get any sleep

Seems that it's a good location though, directly on the seafront..12 minutes walk to centre of Kavos

Ahhh Kavos. Firstly, 14 days is too long.
It is a party town, not a very big one at that. I worked there for a season in 2007.
During the day, It has a main strip going straight through it with day bars and restaurants and closed night clubs. Not much to do apart from walk up and down and sit in one of the mentioned places or go to the beach, I can say as a witness I have seen condoms on the beach.
At night the night clubs open as well as the day bars stay open and it gets busy. The rolling stone was always the busiest but as like the rest of the places all run down. Not like magaluf where its at least half decent venue.
If you want to rent a car and explore the island then this could work as the island is nice and lots of nice restaurants in the surrounding towns. You can even drive to Sidari at the other end of the island for a more family vibe and a nicer beach or Lefkimmi . Hey, all this was 16 years ago (as I type this I now feel old) so it could have all changed........if you do go say hello to Spiros(pretty much everyone) and Maria in Papagalos. Yamas! (edited)

We had a late deal and they allocated us Kavos at the airport and we're in our fifties.!?

Good beach but pretty crazy and there's only one main street and it's not really traditional Greece.

We went there when we were in our late fifties and it was great. However, to qualify that, we went in the second week of September, so all the kids were back at school and most of the souvenir/clothes shops were having clearance sales. We stayed at Olive Grove Resort which is far enough out to avoid most of the nightclub noise, and they had a regular free minibus service to the centre of Kavos. We loved the people of Corfu so much that we've being going to Corfu ever since (usually to Sidari).
