Stop being so quick to expire please people, TND have a habit of adding more stock very soon after they run out.
    Back in stock now.

Oof imagine a few weeks ago paying this £ for 1TB because PCIe gen 4.0 speeds, ouch!

Good deal. Get in, going to get cheaper still.

This is a good price for a fast drive.

Ahh you beat me to it!
Only fair I suppose, I posted it for a little more than this price last time.
Fantastic SSD for the money. (edited)

have this on my ps5, bought it when it was a bargain at 200ish some years ago. Works still fine.
I did use a Sabrent M.2 heatsink that is made for the ps5 for a bit better cooling and didnt use the one that the XMP comes with

Hi, do you have a link to the heat sink you used please?

990 Pro is £167.99 - £50 cashback at the moment. Might be worth the extra for some people.
    steveok's avatar
    what cashback offer is that?

Amazing deal. I got one of these in my custom built pc I got last month. It was like £150 extra then

If I buy this for my ps5, does the augmented heat sink do a good enough job or do I have to buy another heat sink

I’d suggest purchasing a better heat sink, which will do more dissipation than this basic heat spreader.

Reason being, have a look at Amazon reviews (filter by 1*) for this drive which all mention drive failure when in a PS5.
As there isn’t a firmware / hardware issue I’m aware of, I can only assume it was due to overheating in those cases from users sticking with the included heat spreader only (edited)

This apparently uses 3D NAND and not QLC, TLC, SLC or MLC. I read online that all other NAND tech are 2D and apparently 3D NAND is the best in terms of performance, endurance and cost per storage. They, however, haven't specified how much is the DRAM. Can someone give a suggestion on if it's good or bad?

looks like 1GB of DRAM techpowerup.com/ssd…cs/ this website lets you look up that sorta thing got it from comments on here it's really handy

They'll be back, they always are, lol.

    Gone to £99.83 now

Yep, the code only works on items over £100 (I think a bug meant it still worked on this drive when it was a few pence under £100, they've fixed it now).

Saying that, it's still by far the best drive you can get for that money, a better deal than the SP drive I posted which is very similar in performance but costs £109. (edited)

Anyone know where I can get a heat sink for this as when I click on the conversation asking the question above it crashes the app.

Finally back in stock (been checking past few days) but now listed price isn't below £99 so code doesn't work. £97.74 isn't bad but would have been useful if they sold a £6 heatsink

Save a couple of quid buy adding this -
